Original Picture
- This document outlines how the region of Central Siberia in TNO Russia will be updated in the future. This will happen as a part of the Spring Blossom patch. The patch will have several releases to it and it will be worked on independently from any other patches
- Story of Central Siberia is rather simple: Genrikh Yagoda took the Presidium of the Soviet Union down with him to Siberia, not long after Dissident-led revolts and coups of local governments started to appear all over his fiefdom which, in the end, reduced Yagoda’s holdings to just Irkutsk. The movements that took it upon themselves - from USSR and, eventually, coming back to Russia from abroad - to govern cities and regions in Central Siberia were not unified and, thus, entered its own stage of utter divide
- Theme of Central Siberia is the one of populism and power, of ideals and their cost, of lies and confusion, of people’s hopes and anger - and what can this all result in if this runs unchecked
- Spring Blossom Scope Document - TBD
- [SB] Patch Masterdoc
- HoS - Daniil Kharms (Liberalism, Liberal Radicalism)
- Ruling Party - OBERIU (Ob’yedineniye Real'nogo Iskusstva)
- Short name - Tomsk
- Russian Unifier
- Intellectually bohemianist yet democratic republic ruled by the intelligentsia, artists and former emigres in the form of salons and connected organizations of special interests. While those in power are more concerned with either the fundamental or artificially important matters, the day-to-day life of its citizens rapidly comes to a complete stagnation. Higher ideas and idealistic ideals meet the danger of their impending irrelevance and the problems that arise in the middle of this all - what does the next chapter entail?

- HoS - Boris Yeltsin (Conservatism, Populist Conservatism)
- Ruling Party - NDR (Nash dom - Rossiya)
- Short name - Novosibirsk
- Russian Unifier
- A democratic, federative, capitalist, complicated and ever promising loosely inspired by the early 90s Russia federation created and ruled by the dissidents from secret intelligence services and disillusioned liberal politicians of what, once, was the Soviet Union. The voice of the masses and a firm, strong guiding hand of the governmental party in the ocean of weaker, attention undeserving parties are the two things that move the whole country forward, increasing the calls for action and internal divide each passing day. Can such a complicated state survive at such speed without one voice shutting all the others or, instead, just destroying all it has built in the blink of an eye?

- HoS - Michael Goleniewski (Despotism, Absolute Monarchy)
- Ruling Party - KV (Krasnoyarskoe veche)
- Short name - Krasnoyarsk
- Russian Unifier
- A modern masquerade of a state inspired by both the Kievan Rus’ and the Novgorod Republic. Initially this monarchist abomination was an attempt to save themselves by those desperate NKVD officers and the Red Army generals who did not see any bright future under neither the collapsing Soviet Union nor the newly proclaimed neighboring states. They have replaced the local governments, proclaimed new dynasties, returned old ones, promised everything to everyone and hoped for the best. Over time - through the sheer force of adaptive governance and reckless pretending - this new Rus’ started to gain real shape for those it ruled and for those who ruled it. Circumnavigating the present is all well and good, of course - but what will be required in the future to not just exist but, hopefully, thrive?

Worker’s and Peasant’s Union
- HoS - Varlam Shalamov (Socialism, Syndicalism)
- Ruling Party - KAS (Konfederatsiya anarcho-syndikalistov)
- Short name - Kansk
- Russian Unifier
- A socialist, anarcho-syndicalist, truly people’s state that arose from nothing but blood and the subsequent anger. What once was a worker’s strike against Yagoda turned into a mass wave of protests and, then, into its own state. Rejecting every institution that the “corrupted” Soviet Union has created, labeling everyone who has worked for it as traitors and living in the constant state of revolution - the Worker’s and Peasant’s Union is on the path of striving for total, worker-directed justice against all who wronged them. The people have spoken, they can not be lied to anymore. What is, however, total justice - and how to live with it?

Novokuznetsk Administration
- HoS - Vasily Vanin (Despotism, Warlordism)
- Ruling Party - DSESS (Dvizheniye za sotsialʹnuyu evolyutsiyu Sovetskogo Soyuza)
- Short name - Novokuznetsk
- Russian Unifier
- The one place in Russia which truly fits the definition of a “warlord state” in the most cruel possible sense. An “administration” ruled by conmen, war criminals, usual criminals, forced civilian administrators and traitors to everything but themselves, the Novokuznetsk Administration exists only for its leaders to get more of what life can offer while the remaining wealth of its citizens sinks further below the surface, to the same place their hopes and dreams usually go. An alive black market, a sad absurdity and a disgrace to any human values - call it all you want, the sound of ever increasing power and riches is louder than anything you can say
- Development Documents
- HoS - Mikhail Levitov (Fascism, Fascism)
- Ruling Party - OG (Obshchestvo gallipoliytsev)
- Short name - Bakhta
- Unplayable. Puppet of the Siberian Republic
- An army of the Wrangelite emigres from the USA that was placed on the Siberian Republic’s borders, autonomously defending its most desolate and dangerous regions. When they arrived back home to Russia they hoped they would be met with wine and roses and, eventually, be allowed to participate in Tomsk’s politics - this did not work out, they were not fit for them. Will Tomsk be able to deal with this ticking time bomb or will the pride and ego of both sides prevail instead?

Congress of the Siberian Territories
- HoS - Ivan Zavoloko (Despotism, Theocracy)
- Ruling Party - NSO (Norilʹskaya staroobryadcheskaya obshchina)
- Short name - Norilsk
- Unplayable. Puppet of the Siberian Republic
- An autonomous congress of the Old Believer settlers and the Siberian native people organized by the Siberian Republic and a party ruled by it. Not only do the interests of both groups that compose the Congress directly conflict with each other, not only Norilsk and surrounding territories is, perhaps, the worst place to organize any kind of autonomous governing system - the Congress’s autonomy also gets betrayed by Tomsk on almost daily basis. Maybe the Congress can find better conditions for itself if it decides to take up radical action?

- HoS - Nikolai Kamov (Liberal Conservatism, Centrism)
- Ruling Party - KPRP (Kemerovskaya partiya razvitiya i procvetaniya)
- Short name - Kemerovo
- Unplayable
- A shining city on the hill, a prosperous city-state ruled by a stable coalition of similar centrist democratic parties. Established by those who, once, were politicians in Tomsk but did not see it as the ideal governing model and all sorts of technical engineers, the City of Kemerovo is a place to live in and work but… not dream. Kemerovo does not have any possibilities before itself, it has no place to go, no dreams to strive towards. A soulless shell of a country life in which is the same every day with nothing more to offer, that is all. Could its neighbors use the moral and economic stagnation of the city as a weapon in their political games?

- HoS - Genrikh Lyushkov (Communism, Bukharinism)
- Ruling Party - VKP(b) (Vsesoyuznaya kommunisticheskaya partiya (bolʹshevikov))
- Short name - Boguchany
- Unplayable. Puppet of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet
- The last territory in Central Siberia held by Irkutsk which, in the face of ongoing emergencies, was transformed into the NKVD’s “operational group”. There’s no higher purpose for Boguchany’s forces to be stationed where they are, there’s only an objective - to take back Central Siberia by any means necessary. When there’s no higher purpose, smaller and smaller goals start to arise. Out of them an ugly creature can raise its head - the creature of self-destructive opportunism which, no doubt, will not affect the soldiers of Boguchany… Right?

- The politics between Tomsk, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk should resemble the politics of three democratic, solid nations. One of the closest analogies for it would be the politics between Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina throughout all of TNO. The politics between Tomsk and Novosibirsk are incredibly tense and should be the prime factor that sets off the whole region at fire - probably 2 years into the game instead of 1 like the other regions
- The “Siberian Plan” will have its lore solidified so that this appeared not because Bukharin wished so before the war but, instead, because the Eartern evacuations of industry were going on during the Second World War and people like Yagoda commanded them to go even deeper into Siberia. The Siberian Plan as a separate decision category will be gone, will stay as a dynamic modifier but get affected by shared warlord mechanics instead
- Even with all the helicopters Nikolai Kamov’s presence will provide to the region’s troops it’s preferable to use mechanics and spawning inside of territories troops for combat and territory annexing. In addition, mechanized OOB is what can help the wars in the region feel satisfying. Remember - half of provinces in Central Siberia take a long time to pass the troops through
- Mengjiang (Sphere’s Mongolia) has already achieved one significant territorial success by annexing Tannu Tuva in the midst of chaos in Central Siberia. It strives to get as much of the Alrai region as it can so Novosibirsk better prepare for this
- Kansk will strive to achieve justice for workers in every nation around it. The worker’s discontent mechanic as a separate decision category will be removed and, instead, get transformed into an aspect for all Central Siberian Russias to deal with. If the worker’s discontent is high then Kansk’s units will spawn inside of targeted by it nations
- In contrast to, say, West Siberia the nations of Central Siberia are much more entrenched in their places so influencing them from outside should feel like a monumental task. In general one should not be able to create any crises but, rather, capitalize on already existing ones for their advantage
- The wealth of Central Siberia spreads beyond the region, its civilian goods have customers all around West Siberia and the Far East. What do these both regions give in return? Expansive spy networks of Sverdlovsk, Omsk and Irkutsk - some try to collapse the region, some try to steal patterns for civilian goods and some want to return the whole region back
