Not sure which mod you speak of now.
If it has Engine.ini tweaks then the directory I mentioned will lead to them.
Otherwise it might be the DLL mod which is in your game directory and replaces a file anyways. Those are the two main FPS fix mods currently, Engine.ini tweaks and a DLL mod
