Nope. Updated the drivers once again after i installed the game. I set the shader cache limit in nvidia control panel, installed the ascendio mod as well. It didnt work. But update 3 might so im trying that out now

Sharing your specs could help. Does the crash give you an error number or something to help figure the root cause? I prefer using loose torrent files cos if something goes wrong you can verify the torrent to make sure everything is perfect (similar to steam file verification)

Almost same as me except I use Intel. Try fiddling with the settings as someone suggested above. Something about turning upscaling on and "set far 1.0" or whatever that means. Just go to graphics settings and see if it helps. In my case i let the game detect my settings and everything is set to ultra with RT off

Turned on FSR 1.0 (i have an rtx 3060 12gb) and it did fix the collecting pages CTD. I was getting CTD'd everytime on the same page. Got CTD'd 5 times on that same page but now I managed to collect it. I hope it wasnt just a fluke

As someone who downloaded the dodi final pack. Should I look into downloading Empress version instead? The game has been great for me. Till I got to hogsmead. Any page I pick up (unless I'm far the crap away) will cause me to crash

The only difference is the size and need to install... if it continues to get freez during installation you might want to try the original empress version. It has no installation process.

Just got it working about an hour ago, tested on connection to local server and to remote server. it crashed on teleport. but that was with me connected to people that own the legit version. going to try with another cracked on local server in a bit. I will report back. if everything works as expected, I will repack it with the working dll and maybe everyone can finally get in on the multiplayer action.

Download speed cannot be "fixed". It is probably a problem on your end since the torrent is very healthy. Try port forwarding the torrent client and try changing TCP for UDP (and vice versa)

Empress cracks the game. She has not released anything new, so has had nothing to post. The update just happens to work with her already cracked exe, so if you want to try it , you can. But there's no guarantees itwill work as intended for everyone or for the duration of the ggame.
