I installed the Update 3 (35 GB)and Ascendio mod yesterday. I played and streamed the game for 5 hours straight and my game didn't crash(no stutters no fps drops) at all. My gaming rig is R7-3700x/RTX 3060/16 GB RAM

pro tip: if you have a mid - low end pc, when using ascensio, choose the aggressive preset( the one on the left). I use txt 2060, r5 3600 and it greatly improved my performance. No stutters at all

For the people who are coming, we are all trying to solve the FPS problems that Hogwarts Legacy has, so far what has worked for many of us is to use Engine.ini and Gameusersetting.ini files from other players to improve performance a bit.
suddenly a supposed update 3 came out, which some say significantly improves performance problems, I am currently downloading it to tell you how everything is going, and to know if it works or not, stay tuned

Installed it and running it. It's fine but update 3 alone doesn't do much. Also shader compilation is broken after update 3 although it wasn't working even on previous updates

Not bad it was playable..but FPS drop was like 45 or smth or maybe 30 sometimes depending on which areas you are in the game...after applying the update 3 (reapply the crack) and using Ascendio mod it works smoothly..

The game is mostly cpu bound and suffer from memory leak, not gpu bound. As long as you don't reach the limit of your gpu, you can increase gpu only settings, you will not see performance drop
