There was similar issue in AC Origins and AC Odyssey when you proceeding to towns with full of AIs because it was heavy CPU demanding and DXVK VULKAN fixed all the issues back in the time but VKD3D is not working so good with old GTX cards, you can maybe try the VULKAN method if you have RTX card to boost your frames in problematic areas like Hogsmeade and Hogwarts

Anyway nexus mods really helped. Google performance mods for hogwarts. I found an article from sportskeeda very helpful, 5 performance mods that don't clash and I shit you not I'm not playing 4k ultra settings. dlss quality. And it is veeeery smooth.

After modding restart pc. After modding some textures may not load fast enough but pause and unpause fixes that immediately.

I suffer from low GPU usage, I found that keeping task manager open in background while gaming somehow addresses that. Also switching tabs from and back to game seems to help. I don't know why but it has worked for me for days now with hogwarts and Warhammer 40k darktide (another shitshow game)

If you have high Vram, most of the issues are resolved by not using a shader cache

Open emp-hl.iso and run setup.exe

run iso file, there will be setup.exe inside it

Click on iso and after .exe file

Add the game folder in general and especially that dll file to exception list of your antivirus. Then copy the file to the game folder and this time it shouldn't detect as a virus. Hope, this helps you.

I've had a lifetime license to Daemon tools for years now. I honestly don't like using it to try to burn discs cuz it almost never works, but it's convenient for mounting things to my virtual disc, or just unpacking them like an archive

Hogsmeade (50-60 FPS in daytime, 45-55 FPS in Night time)

Hogwarts (depending on the locations, drops to 40-45 FPS i  some transition bridges and public gardens, 55-60 FPS in Great Hall, 70-100 FPS in other library, corridor and classrooms)

65-75FPS in Open world areas, forest etc

90-100 FPS in dungeons

Almost No stutter
