So hot round to installing this earlier but carefully renamed all the original files with a 1 after them before pasting them across. The game ran ok, although unsure if it REALLY helped the stuttering much because I couldn't finish the intro, no matter what I did once you get to the movie with the hogwarts legacy logo it would finish that and return to the title screen and ask me to select a save file. I even went back on to an earlier auto save and then played through but nope wouldn't go past that. So deleted all the new files and renamed the original ones back and bang worked instantly and went past the movie and onto the sorting hat. I'll wait for the next patch cheers, was also the first crash crash I had when I used the new files - steam deck here btw

The game launched extremely buggy, her build worked fine, but there were a few tweaks that anyone of steam deck had to do to get it running. Don't blame empress, though I downloaded a repack on the day she released her patch rather than the iso, but got it pretty quick and these files work fine

you could have merged the exe files. the exe file of the clean files should not change, and when u apply the update, you don’t copy the exe file form the update.

I'm seeing a lot of tables in Hogwarts Legacy's database for things not included in the game, like crimes, with different severity levels, such as taboo or violence going up to "Game over", and also stuff like theft, or intrusion, for example at Hogsmeade I imagine. Also a couple spells like fiendfyre, tarantallegra, etc

Just make sure the beginning is the same like the new one should be something like HL-01-14 but the old one HL-00-14 you need to make the old one say the same name as the new one
