Microsoft updated windows defender so now it false flags the crack on purpose, so you need to either disable it or put the game folder in the exceptions.

One possible explanation I can think of is that, having a high gpu will give you high fps, but the game runs only on windowed or windowed fullscreen, thats why it stutters.

for me ascendio and SLPF saved the day, i installed the update, too; i got with the update a little boost of FPS as well, but the game is a little bit more stuttery, but that's not a problem

Well, I set my Virtual Memory to 32gb (per another recommendation for crashing) at the same time i tried your Engine.ini and not only do my crashes seem to be fixed now but its running great. I had very mild drops/stutter before but they seem to be totally gone now. Im pretty much locked to 60fps in and around Hogsmeade at the moment. The only stuttering i get is the transition to the pause screen and from the pause screen back to the game. no biggie. Im running Ryzen 3600 + 5700XT + 16gb 3600DDR4 @2560x1080 Ultrawide with all High settings and no upscaling. also my Ram usage is now 11-13gb, it was pretty much maxing out before around 15.5. Im very happy with it

Understandable !! 👍 mine is rtx 2070 and shared memory + paging file on m.2 SSD adds upto 40 gb virtual memory...no stutters whatsoever...but the memory leak is there and system working set memory is continually drained..hopefully gets fixed in another update !!

P.S the game doesn't allow Fullscreen mode by default, so if you want that extra performance boost go to %localappdata%\Phoenix\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini and set these two variables to 0.
