I tried the nexus mods too and I was not impressed. Doing .ini tweaks yourself works way better. Ascendio just makes the game so incredible shitty looking and all you get are maybe 10-20 FPS

8GB VRAM is really close but you can try the following:
1. disable windows Pagefile you have enough actual RAM
2. clean your engine.ini from any changes you or mods may have made
3. Add the following lines to your engine.ini

As far as I know, Denuvo used to offer perpetual contracts, and now that the number of projects they have to support increases, so they offer a subscription.
