I have checked the update 3, it has changes in the exe. So by replacing the crack you are replacing the updated exe. It will still work because they changed the data files but it still gets loaded the same by the exe just what it contains is changed somewhat, but also a lot of things are done from the exe, which you have replaced. It starts but it will be buggy like hell probably and will be filled with crashed and more problems. We can't guarantee smooth performance with it. So we won't be responsible for helping if you face issues with that build

Steam deck fix:Goto Desktop Mode

Open Terminal

Create a backup of grub with "sudo cp /etc/default/grub /etc/default/grub.bak"

Open grub with "sudo nano /etc/default/grub"

Find the line GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT

add clearcpuid=514 to the string inside the quotes

Save the file with ctrl+O

Update grub settings with "sudo update-grub"

Restart with sudo shutdown now -r

when you exit the game you are on the desktop and then open the task manager and Hogwarts Legacy is still open in the background and won't close. is there any way to make it close completely and not manually?
