I use a hybrid update, half update 3, half pre-launch.

If you did it right you should still see shaders compiling when the game boots. It reduced pretty much all my micro stutters

Reapply the crack from EMPRESS folder. Put it back into the folder where your game is installed and say yes to replacing the files.

You can try just wait, untill your ram use increase to 8000mb. (You can check it on task manager) Or try making backup of your save files, delete everything in Phoenix folder in your C:/Users/username/Appdata/Local/Phoenix and launch the game. It might be a shader compilation problem. I'm trying to find a solution here.

Both don't go well, either or situation

Well. Here's some results so far.

With the latest Nvidia driver and a mixture of high and ultra setting +dlss(auto and balanced makes no difference) minus RT, 2560x1600 display and the ascendio fps booster, I get 55fps in hogsmede and 70-75 in open world. And fsr in hogsmede is really bad. Can't get over 45.

Fps does fluctuate on a random basis. My laptop is a Rog M16 24gb ram, SSD, 3070ti, i9 12900h.

I can't get the game to go 1440p so I'm stuck with 1600.

As for whether driver version makes any difference. Nope it did not.

I rolled back to previous drivers for now, but still had the black screen issue first launch. After I made a new save, it launches normally again. I think it can be loading save files from previous version issue as well

We do have to adapt in lots of ways, with VPNs, accounts from different regions, steam gifts, virtual cards, cryptocurrency, etc., that's true.
