Try SSD if other solutions don't work. Otherwise if you don't even want to try, uninstall it.

This is a detailed explanation of how I got rid of all the stutter and fps issues in Hogwarts legacy on a low end gtx 1060 (6GB) laptop. and it works for any setup since Stutter is due to optimization for most people.

1- Download the Engine.ini file and place it in
C:\Users\(you)\AppData\Local\Phoenix\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

2- Open it and search for r.Streaming.PoolSize
Set it to 1024 if your card is 3 or 4 gb, 2048 if 6 GB like me, 3072 if 8, and 4096-5120 if 10-12 GB.

3- download the CChromaEditorLibrary4.dll and place it in:
Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Plugins\ChromaSDKPlugin\Binaries\Win64

I don't think update 4 is stable, go with update 3 if you have to.

I don't have a lot of space on the ssd, so first I will try to optimize the game for the hdd. if I fail, I will move it to the ssd.

Notes:
This reduces fog to the minimum. if u want to enable it go to Engine.ini and change "volumetric fog" to 1 and "Fog" to 1

You have 6 go of ram it's limit. For me I have 8 go and ssd. And with optimization it's ok, but sometimes I have low fps.

No wonder it's stuttering if you're playing on HDD. It will probably be quicker to copy stuff over and install on SSD than to play around with the update, work out how to update it, re-apply the crack etc

Even the first EMP build of Hogwarts Legacy works fine though, it just uses high system memory first time enter the game but then memory usage decreases after 30mins+ of gameplay, at least it was like that for me, as for the VRAM usage it was insanely high even on Low settings due to texture streaming issues ofc that's why Update 3 and other performance fix tools really helped most of the people

Microsoft updated windows defender so now it false flags the crack on purpose, so you need to either disable it or put the game folder in the exceptions.

for me personally i was playing on 16GB ram when i started with hogwarts, i had big fps drops and my ram was always at 100%, after a week i bought 2 new 16gb sticks and installed them, i then had an performance increase of like 30% and the memory hits now somewhere like 25gb if i play the game with everything on high or ultra. the ram usage is insane on this game

Using update 3 is pointless, the .exe was modified for those updates so you're using a cracked OLD executable file with the rest of the update. At that point it's not really an update.

NVIDIA has a better color and data compression technology on its memories but more VRAM is generally an advantage for VRAM hungry games, tbh I'd prefer 3060 or 4060 12GB over a 3060 Ti 8GB for 1080p gaming in anyway

My ryzen 5 3600 its not enough to rtx 3070 even on 2.5k, The 1% have constant drops fps and uses 70 or 80% of gpu in recent games, i have seen (r7 5800x3d) use 100% of it and gain 20 or 30 fps in some games...
