It's not always about the money.

Cracks are important for video games preservation, specially on PC when you notice that more and more video games are released only through digital copies, copies you BUY, but don't own (hopefully you know this already), and it's not only Denuvo I'm talking about here but a way bigger problem.

If I take the example of Steam, if they decide one day to remove a game from the library, we are fkd if there were no cracks or if piracy never existed. Corposhit can stop you from playing if they feel like it it even if you bought it, and don't fkn tell me they cannot.
On the other hand, if a game is drm free, it's a win win situation: you can call yourself "owning" that digital copy + the company is earning money which encourage them to release more games drm free, and hopefully sensitizing other companies to give up on drm as well. If a game is drm free, just buy it please if you reaaaaaaaaally do love the game and if you can't buy them all, buy some at least. It won't be a waste of money

Fortunately there are still physical copies being sold on consoles -but for how low I'm afraid-, and for the same price as a digital game  you're actually "owning" the game since the CD is between your own hands, and has eventually a resell value. I can even add that the copies are cheaper months after the release.
And why tf is this a thing, digital and physical sold for the same price wyf? Digital should be cheaper at least.. corposhit are the real fkn scammers.

Personally speaking, I buy a digital copy of a video game on PC only when it's drm free, it's just wasting money for smtg I don't really own. When I'm interested in a big game DRM protected, I mostly play them on console with a physical copy.

Extract the updates on a new folder and then delete one by one of these files on the game directory.

Sounds like something you can do with a synth and distortion pedals and editing sounds with program like audacity to find that specific tone. I don't think there's a single way to do it. There are multiple
