As an insight, Watch Dogs Legion's Ubisoft store version was cracked by EMPRESS nearly a year ago. Recently ubisoft has released the game on steam and the steam version works SMOOTHLY with the old EMPRESS crack, just with few tweaks. I have stress tested this version and played the campaign & bloodline DLC for 3 hours and compared the performance with ubisoft store version. There is negligible difference but I personally felt the steam version is smoother with less stutters and 2-3 FPS gain.
HENCE, I decided to pack up the final game with everything applied and post it as a contribution in my community here, so that the interested people can be benefited, without having to do any extra effort, other than just downloading it :)

And after 20+ hours of gameplay wherever I die on combat the game crash to desktop instead of reloading to last checkpoint. Trying to go menu does the same.

thats exactly how you move a folder... so yes.. very stupid question

Even more "sureway" to move it is to right click on the game folder, click copy.
Then right click anywhere inside destination folder and right click paste.
Copy and Paste is faster than Cut and Paste bc Cut copy+deletes the file while copying it.

Cut is only faster when moving within the same device bc then only the reference to it in the filesystem moves, making it instantaneous.

I advice against dragging and dropping because it might behave differently based on what is being dragged and where to it is being dragged, it implements extra funcionality and interaction, like dragging and dropping into the browser, or dragging and dropping a folder into an executable.

Tried the game extensively. Here is my findings.

Cracked itself is okay.

Things change when you use Update 3. I am getting crashes in Guide notes or whatnot. Besides those crashes which happens when you pick some notes game is fine.

You need to turn off Ray Tracing. Not because it is difficult to run but because it is badly implemented. Even in Hogwarts I got strange patches where there was no light source but RT Shadows flickering into existence.

Tried Ascendio. And it's bad for Nvidia 3000 Series because in the recommended settings it loads potato textures quite a lot and I was getting a lot of stutters during that time. Did engine.ini edit at reddit and now game does not dip below 50 or so.

You can play day one version without any problem.

You will get a few crashes with Update 3.

You will need do try for tweaks or mods suitable for your system.

And don't use any more updates. Update 4 and above should not be even tried with this game.

Pre release version runs fine apart from being a little stuttery. Still perfectly playable in my book.

so basically I put it the game in steam again then I decided to check the general controller settings and saw that PS4 controller wasn't enabled, I enabled it and now I'm able to use my controller k didn't have to use DS4windows
