Ya but in Valhalla there is this thing. If one keeps wondering and doing other stuff without playing main quests for long, when one starts playing the main quest he has to revisit those locations again. Which sorta can be annoying.
So basically game is made in a way that one can do the side quest like raiding forts and such while completing main quest itself mostly. Which is not something get to see these days in current open world RPGs
