For example Kenshi, Europa Universalis 3, Mount and Blade Bannerlord with heavy mods are performing horrably withoult ssd, you will get stutters in Kenshi and M&B. Same about Skyrim with a lot of heavy mods but for different reason, in Skyrim you will have super long loading time, up to 5 min with HDD.

Also there is lot of games that benefits almost nothing from ssd. For example you will get 15 sec loading time with hdd and 5 sec with ssd, it's not a big difference.
