yeah I bet you can, but anime in particular often looks weird when fps interpolated... the backgrounds often move smoothly, while the character animation is full of gaps, because the AI isn't made for interpolating the low framerate

Even if I don't think there is any scientific truthness in this one but if the source recorded in high fps, it is looking better than recording that recorded in low fps by comparison even if they are ripped later in 24 or so fps.
