Along with some other mods, I often spend time here troubleshooting people's issues, serving requests, etc. And I notice carefully how people react, not because I actually care for their reactions but I like to get a glimpse of their mentality. Very few people go too far and often DM me sending God's blessings just because of my help. Most say a normal thanks and moves on. Few actually even ignores and I have to tag them to ask if my suggestion helped them. Some simply moves on without showing gratitude.

It's very interesting to study such mentality of different people based on a particular aspect. Sometimes I even show extra care to those who don't care to respond, just to see if their response changes. Most of the times it doesn't. Meanwhile there are people who even thanks me for my time even if I can't fix their issue. So yeah there are several varieties. Some ignores, some say it out from heart, some just say it because otherwise it feels wrong.

Regarding their punishment, I will not fully say that they should be punished. I have talked sharply sarcastically with few such ignorant people but apparently they are too dumb to realize their fault. Most just doesn't even understand why a simple "thank you" and "thanks" or even a "ty" creates highly noticeable difference in mentality. Those people live in ignorance and I'm sure that they won't bother reading your lesson either. If they do, I'm certain they will understand it based on how precise your explanation about it was.

Moreover, such an ignorance tends to create a massive demotivation to those who are actually spending their time to help others, no matter how stupid the other person is. Not always people hunts for a gratitude but continuous negligence surely demotivates them, kills their fire since the overall atmosphere is actually extremely negative. Same case with a person who cares to write a paragraph with whole heart and feelings (like I'm doing now), but then it simply just gets ignored as you talked about it above. The person might TRY to smoke the negativity away but....The feeling of negligence, negativity and demotivation will kill his fire. If the same process continues, that person will just resort to writing short reactions because.... Anyone barely cares, so what is even the point of investing a lot of effort on the subject.

I'm going to try to reinstall it over steam and then reapply the crack ... because nothing else seems to be working. Luckily it can detect existing files so I will remove all the files that the crack overwrites and have steam download the originals again
