If I have any gripes with it, is that a few lines got changed despite being cooler, and I never got used to Krauser or Saddler's voices, they sounded much better in the original, and Saddler's personality was more....cynical, knowing full well of what he was doing and making it clear he was playing the "religious leader" role, whereas in this one he sounded just as crazy and knee deep in the occult like his followers.

And of course, Ada's monotone, emotionless and just...not "fitting well with the face" voice. Urgh, hopefully a mod using AI voice change can fix that.
Overall it was an 8/10, would be 9 if the voices of the 3 people above were similar to OG.

Oh and the regenerators, those were a pain, the scope to see the plagas inside them zoom in too much

so essentially you're fighting in corridors or rooms, it zooms in too much, AND the Regenerators move a lot more now compared to the original, they are very jittery and react more violently to getting a plagas shot, and because of that, the combination of variables makes it much harder to shoot them accurately, sometimes you're walking back as you take out a plaga but you run into a wall or something behind you, not that it matters cause that thing would leap at you anyway after managing 2 plagas killed cause usually it would have moved that close to you by the time you're done with them. And when they are flailing around like a fish out of water, it's a pain aiming that close with the thermal scope, so just onload with a shotty or magnum, idk.

Overall settings were high, only thing I turned off where things like motion blur and lens flare which I always found stupid and unrealistic, textures were set at 3GB, but anyway, the game ran smooth the whole way through, not a single slowdown for anything.

At first I played with core efficiency set to cores 2 and above, leaving 0 and 1 turned off for the game. But one day I forgot to do that and saw no difference.(not that I had an fps counter, just saying the game ran smooth still)
