From my understanding, even if your VRAM usage is below the limit during cutscenes, it tends to spike. Lowering the settings is what resolved this issue for most people.

I got crashes and i didnt know why, so i checked thru afterburner whitch hardware could bottleneck. It was rly easy to find out which hardware it was. Since i have a rtx 3080 and 13700kf it could just be the RAM cause it stucks on 12200mb (or something like that) and i have 16gb. So windows take 4gb of my RAM so it makes sense. I upgraded to 32gb and tadaa now i have no crashes no stutter no anything and that fcking game take 21gb of my RAM.
But in youre case it could be anythink because youre hardware ist old pbly too weak for hogwards to play it. -
