- If I disconnect it midgame and connect via bluetooth - then it continues as normal playing on bluetooth.

So there is something confusing DeadSpace in picking up the bluetooth connection first over the wired connection

I did have an issue where I had DS4windows open (Speedrun related so not this issue) and I didn't notice it and it caused issues, so make sure any programs or apps related to controller configs are closed completely.
