What is clear is that pirated versions run better than the original version, the reason is that product validation methods consume RAM and processing resources, these processes are altered or limited when the game is broken. The result is better performance which is what happened with Red dead Redemption 2, RE2 Remake, RE8 Village, Hogwarts Legacy I don't think RE4 would be any different.

Dunno if Morgott's boss fight was easier than Margit's or the player just got good upon reaching Morgott

RE2R and village also perform well in the original version but compare with the pirated version and you will see that the pirated version still runs better. maybe there's not much difference in RE4 but if you gain 15 FPS for those who play at 50FPS it's already a lot.
