Well it's been quite a week here, and that's for sure.
Today I sat through an earthquake. Yes an earthquake in Australia. 6 on the scale. Was not overly impressed, having never experienced one I was expecting to feel....something? Not "what's that? Feels like a large trucks going past my house with all the vibration. I should report this to the council". Of course cue a mass sperg out by the media/ ZOMG! there was like some tiles that fell off a roof in Chapel Street. It's EXACTLY like Christchurch!!!
The chairman of the ruling party, and I can tell you it broke his heart having to tell us this, announced a 2 week shutdown of the building industry because those dirty. dirty trades people are spreading the coof because they're working class and dirty and don't take a telling. Of course when he says 2 weeks he means 2 months, but that's just Dan being Dan, it's what makes him so adorable. Funny fucker.
The tradies have been rioting for 3 days straight in response. The media have been saying they're not really working class builders but Neo Nazis. Yes the Lebanese dude screaming fuck your jabs is in fact a member of the Aryan Nations. Leftie journalists who love working class people (spoiler they hate them) have been condemning the protesters as selfish and gauche. Of course no one is making them take a vaccine, but they've been to university and know how to wear a mask properly. Also the tradies started off by complaining that they'd been banned from their break sheds because they're dirty and working class and spread disease more easily. Again lots of condemnation from the woke. Can't they just have lunch at their desks like we do? I mean seriously why can't they just work from home?
Dan also announced that school teachers must get the poke or face the sack. Lots of sage nods of approval that Pfizer, who are apparently both a greedy big phrama company and a selfless impartial regulator, announced that their jab was 'safe for kids'. They'd injected a few hundred under 12s in America, none of them have died yet, and if they have they aren't complaining, so LETS GO! I'm fully expecting vax mandates for school children which will mean a difficult conversation with the missus. If I keep my job (I won't) then I can afford a tutor to home school, likely one of those dirty anti-vax teachers who're about to get fired. If I lose my job (I will) I'll be home schooling.
