Hey it's a week ago now and you fuckers somehow have filled 80 pages since then but thank you for the recs for Holomyth streams. These Watson Outer Wild streams have been great while working on shit and the Super Mario 3D World collab made me kind of start to get Gura's appeal. I'm too sleep deprived to think of a good way to make this post thread worthy but I'll say Southern Belle Polka is fucking great

She usually says the exact movie length of the copy she's watching so you can at least guess whether you're watching the same version (unless you're watching one from the high-seas with start/ends clipped). She does describe how it starts so you can sync it a bit but this particular one was a perfect sync for me since she started straight from 0. She usually has a back & forth with chat about starting at a particular logo during the opening.

Inuyama Tamaki will be interviewing Lain Paterson of Nijisanji's newest JP wave 'Eden-gumi'.


I mention this because it would mean that Hololive Gen 5 is the first wave/generation Tamaki has completely skipped as long as I can remember her being active.

The reason for this is likely because of her close on-stream friendship with Oda Nobuhime (Polka's past life). It's something a lot of people wanted to see but this kind of makes me feel like it won't come to be — at least not anytime soon.

So I thought on past instances of JP V-Tubers engaging with people they used to before they reincarnated, and the only instance I could think of was Nishizono Chigusa collabing with Matsuri.

Zen needs to realise that they're a solo streamer. I've watched them a few times and I'll say this: Zen's chat is very funny at times, Gecko Zen has lots of fantastic moments, and the people who can cope with the TTS typically have a good time during the stream. They ARE doing something unique and it's THEIR thing which is a net positive in an industry so oversaturated.

But surely they realise that no one thinks of collaborating with them because the TTS is something people have to endure and not enjoy? Zen is a much better Plat APEX player than Hada, but Selen probably didn't even think of inviting Zen because of the delayed callouts they would have to put up with. You can't expect people to want to talk to Siri for 1-4 hours. Fucking hell.

Guy or not (honestly I couldn't give less of a shit; I don't care if you're male, female, trans, or whatever - as long as you're entertaining and have the common decency not to wanna actively crucify people for their beliefs [read: the opposite of Futakuchi Mana], you're cool), it really has to be admitted that they've carved out a solid spot in a niche that not many Vtubers offer, which is definitely an advantage in the current market. Hell, if not for the TTS and risk of them going on political bullshit, I'd probably give them a watch every once in a while.

That said, them complaining about not being able to suck up to the top dogs while actively ignoring people below them is a pretty retarded double standard that just marks them as a selfish sperg. They've got more than enough to work with (granted, a lot of those people are probably just trying to suck up for exposure, although it could be considered poetic justice), and the fact they're doing this just suggests all they really want is exposure for themselves.

I just tuned in to Kiara's SC-reading portion of the MC stream (thought "TF, this bitch is still streaming?") just in time to hear her talk about downplaying something, saying she'll still be friends with someone and then chat spamming Takamori being dead. TF happened there?

If I would hazard a guess, it seems the corpo-mandated Yuri-bait pairing for her and Calli is officially dead and they're no longer being forced to act accordingly for kayfabe.

Which is absolutely insane to me because they average like 5-7K viewers, which is 3-5K more than a typical NijiEN stream and pretty fucking comparable to HoloEN viewer numbers.

I'll balance it out with some positivity tho: Zen and her chat can actually have really fucking funny moments. This is good. More of this. Less whining.

Yeah I watched some unarchived karaoke streams a couple months back because of a Marine clip where she was gushing about it and it really was as impressive as she was making it out to be. I just couldn't stand her as a streamer in the handful of streams I watched a long time ago. Couldn't tell you why - I think it's something about her speaking voice. Apparently people love her voice but even after warming up to her sense of humor, I have something autistic in my head that gets filtered by the way she speaks/her style of commentary. (it's probably autism).

It's just that Mori slapped Kiara in front of YAGOO when they were in Japan (and Omegaα was the cameraman), nothing big.

Other than anons mocking her for yuribaiting from time to time, was there really any drama around it? I don't watch her but in "normal" spaces I mostly see rabid shipping.
