Guess it shouldn't be surprising that such an autistic comment is on the "TFWiki Fan Page"

Weirdly restyled characters are nothing new or even betrayal based lmao. This kinda thing has similar vibes to the generations figures from like maybe 10 years ago where they'd just do whatever in terms of character reinterpretations, sometimes to really cool effect.

The only thing I consider as "beyond betrayal" is the fact the WFC Armada Prime was never released. There was some rumblings about them not knowing what to price it at or some shit with rumblings of them maybe re-working it into a masterpiece figure,and then nothing else afterwards. Personally I REALLY don't want another 500 or upwards fucking dollar masterpiece I cannot fucking afford to have a small update of an iconic design with modern engineering. Just release the damn thing as a voyager or leader already.

I guess you could also consider it somewhat of a betrayal how every other release of a mainline character the past several years has been an exclusive to some retailer and scraped up by scalpers never to be restocked again. Forgot I didn't preorder terrorsaur and when I went to do it he was the only one amazon removed the listing for much like they did with their exclusive roadblock's preorder. Knowing how the other amazon exlusive transofmers from earthrise and siege were I'm never gonna see that at a sane price wirth scalpers mysteriously ending up with a near constant flow of stock.

I JUST REALIZED WHY BULKHEAD LOOKS LIKE AN OPTIMUS PRIME PRETOOL TO ME.
Look at his legs. Specifically the molding on the lower legs and feet. Look at that and then look at G2 "laser" optimus prime. It's got the same placement of the little square pylons along the front.

BTW, leakers say that Jhiaxus is super G2-comic accurate…… in robot mode. Alt-mode is apparently a Siege Soundwave deal.

Jhiaxus Is easily doable he's literally just a bulkier scourge almost. They literally just have to make a slightly beefier figure with a similar transformation. it'd be a shame for them to do a cop out like that.

Bulkheads lower legs are nearly 1 to 1 for g2 optimus and the arms could easily be reworked into shoulder pylons with the cheast swapped out for a smaller one. I can see beast hunters optimus if they KEEP the middle but it'll be a fucking weird one that's more g2 than beast hunters.

EDIT: just realized the foreams also have a similar shape to g2 prime. little cubic C indentation thing going on.

I want Bulkchad thundercock to win the "best action figure" award like triggerhappy did a few years back just to spite these people lmao. Figure looks cool just not what you'd expect given the fact a lot of the figures lately have been near 1 to 1 representations of prior appearances.

EDIT TO AVOID DOUBLE POST: I'm tempted to order Shattered glass goldbug or mirage considering both are really nice looking, in stock exclusives, but I also want to see if Ravage will still be available y the time orders open up. Wish I knew someone that knew someone that could get one of the box set early since it apperently came out in asia a while back or so some shit in a manner similar to snake supreme cobra commander so i wouldn't have to risk eternal scalping pricing me out of a figure of an iconic character. Still pissed they bumped up the price of the box set from 30 dollars to 50. An exclusive deluxe figure that's a heavy rework of cheetor and a cassete reissue bot makes sense at the initial price they had set for it before pricing up all the exclusives to 50 for some batshit reason. Worst comes to worse I'll hold out for a restock that will inevitably be delayed a whole year or 2 like the fucking pit was.

Laser Prime is the winner hands-down, wish his base had the Earthrise connectors and that he wasn’t as leggy but other than that he’s great.

Dragstrip and Kickback looking great as well, everything else is hot stool.

Knockout's probably gonna look great if not a little bit odd. It's interesting to me how G2 prime does NOT use bulkheads legs or arms despite them being structurally the same. Kinda makes me wonder if it's one of those situations where a character was made as a pretool but the second use never came. Bulkheads lower legs are more g2 prime accurate than the g2 prime figure. Who knows, maybe he'll be used for scourge to some shit lmao. Probably not.

My fucking combiner wars stunticons have been missing dragstrip due to him being scalped since the rest of the team came out. They say there's gonna be a new menasor so he might probably work to a degree.
He's already sold out so it's probably gonna be round 2 on that bullshit. Cool that they finally have a dragstrip with 4 shoulderwheels instead of 2 implied shoulderwheels via kibble.

Plastic covers being gone is a big problem especially with the fact I've seen so many barren boxes WITH the plastic covers which means people literally steal transformers from chain stores and security never stops them. These are supposed to be high quality products but the companies packing them are treating them with the kinda respect you'd treat the cheapest of chinese knockoffs. Every other figure line has plastic windows and inserts but transformers is treated like shit and given an environmentalist excuse. Hell, even the fucking RED series transformers get better treatment than mainline now! I'm losing hope literally anybody will have these soon but crooked ass scalper cliques. If the buzzworthy exclusive bumblebee is anything to go on it's just gonna be swaps save for the ones that were battered and mold covered in transit to the store.

If it's anything like the other figures with a wild ass into the future release date a bunch will inevitably end up on the secondary market and in the hands of people that know people. Only one I haven't seen that happen with is generations selects black zarak.

Well, managed to get Ravage and Galvatron. Kickback, Skids and Dragstrip all pretty much sold out instantly on Pulse. Arcee/Bulkhead are still available, probably gonna shelfwarm.

Laser Prime also surprisingly seems to be sticking around.

Bulkhead as a jacked as hell optimus prime lookalike is like how for a very short stint of games knuckles inexplicably became ludicrously buff and had individual fingers on his gloves. After the initial shock and mild disgust it sets in this is possibly the greatest fucking redesign imaginable. Sure there's other better ones out there but when you put out an actually conceptually sound design that accurately embodies the spirit of the character despite looking so fucking wrong, and is just ENOUGH different that it sends some fans into a fucking "ia! f'tagn!" levels of madness for not being identical to every other appearance like the rest of the cast, is just perfection. There's shit redesigns out there but this is not one of them. He's certainly no earthrise arcee, where it's just NEARLY there but then fucking is so half assed transformation wise it looks shit in both modes when compared to literally every other version of the character.

Honestly I think this may actually be my highlight of pulsecon so far, finally a Hasbro Megazord that isn't shit. John Warden moved to the PR team a while ago and I'd think he probably helped a lot with this.

I wish Legacy Bulkhead leaned more into the AOE Hound aesthetic, I love the idea of robot John Goodman. Might grab a Hound to make him into a true “G1-ized” AOE Hound.
