Barnes said with a random jury and no arguments from either side it's almost certainly a mistrial from a hung jury (he's at least claiming to be using high quality polling to do this). I'd assume we're random or better and the defense are killing it on arguments.

You do have to remember Barnes was basically booted from the team when he had a full jury examination team in position to help with jury selection. While I think Kyle should've retained Barnes, Richard ultimately decided to give him the boot. Barnes may or may not be still salty about that, and saying "well, since you didn't use my fancy pants jury team, your jury is fucked."

The issue with Barnes is that he's more interested in making a name for himself than the necessary good for Rittenhouse. He is in all ways an opportunistic snake, who'd happily crow about how great his jury selection team is... while not really paying terribly much attention to their actual performance.

No, deletion appears to have worked.

The footsoldiers sacrificed to this kind of stunt are never really the brightest bulbs, and the deputies usually made to check for this know to delete the 'recently deleted' section.

From what I can see, the Left aren't paying as much attention to this trial as the Right, as evidenced by their opinions of it being more divorced from reality than Imaginationland. They also don't have as much fervor over it as they did the Chauvin trial.

I'm not really sure how this trial is going to turn out because I know reason often means nothing anymore, but what I do know is that if the Kyle kid is convicted I'll at least have complete faith that the good guys put up the best showing that they possibly could. At this point any sane person could see beyond a reasonable doubt that Rittenhouse was defending himself, therefore if he loses we at least have ironclad evidence that insanity has prevailed.
