Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Fragmaster has posted a thread and video claiming that Lowtax has died...

Considering that Fragmaster has pretty much retired from Internet life and hasn't posted on SA for years, I'm inclined to think it's not a joke.
That's a hell of a eulogy. Some guy you sorta knew from memeing 20 years ago goes on Youtube to talk about you for five minutes, and the keystone story he uses to characterize you is talking about how the daughter he disowned once pissed down his head and shoulders. I know Fragmaster meant it as "Rich was a very tolerant parent and didn't yell" but it comes across as "Rich was into pissplay watersports, based on everything else you know about him." Your kid has to pee soon, don't carry them that way lol.

R.I.P. in piss, you risk-addicted fightcripple.

Moral of the story is internet personalities dieing off or retiring is gonna be common in the next decade or two and it makes me wonder how they will be remembered if at ALL, atleast with actors you have their movies to go back to but for internet personalities what happens when there media is gone with no archive or physical copies.
I wonder who will be next?

More seriously, I do wonder how Internet evidence will hold over time compared to physical information. Only time will tell.

I'm guessing suicide with a really spiteful & bitter letter.
You guys just had to take everything I loved and cared for and GOOF TROOPed all over me. Well you can't GOOF TROOP me anymore on your wacky, zany interwebs forums. I GUESS THE PANTSSHITTERS WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG, I REALLY AM SOMEONE AWFUL GOODBYEEYE

Many people know about other shitty human beings. Being "known about" doesn't make someone worthy of reverence.

Lowtax was a moron who squandered his potential of being an actual "internet titan", that's his legacy.
I do not disagree in any particular point. Nor do i revere him in any way, I thought I made that clear.

He still had a larger impact on the Internet then 99.999% of humanity ever will.

It's not unfair to call him a titan of the internet. Titan dosen't mean good person. His passing is still a milestone. Still feels bad, man.

Imagine dying just to get out of paying child support.
It actully was after the tranny hooker model photos. His lust for tranny ass and not feeding his kids was so great that he necked himself with a sweaty toe towel.

To think this all could have been prevented if he didn't mod trannys or blow all his money on expensive cookies. Rest in pies, fatso.

I lurked SA hard back in the day, who knew this would be the final chapter. God damn. Truly an end of an era that just wouldn't croak out fully.

You, early 2000's, full of hope and optimism: watching a video on an exciting new Internet video site, laughs at of how Eric Bauman sucks and Lowtax will bang Bauman's mom and brand his ass with Something Awful.

You, late 2021, your hope and optimism gone: reading on a New Zealand agricultural forum about how Lowtax, the alcoholic, drug-addicted, twice-divorced ex-owner of Something Awful, has died under unknown circumstances. Eric Bauman is still alive, still has his money and is not a drain on society or a constant source of drama and bullshit to the people around him.

Really makes you think.
