I don't know who's worse off, Moot beta-orbiting a Gawker journalist and getting laid off from Google, or Snacks deciding 4chan was "just a phase" and becoming a far-leftist DJ a la Phil Fish.
Shii, the guy from ADTRW who helped moot with setting up 4chan, made the best decision out of all by completely vanishing from both the chan-sphere and the internet as a whole after moot fired him. There is nothing to gain in the long run, it's all just a giant maelstrom of autism and failure.

In defense (lol) of Snacks: he has always been a DJ. His website has sets from his weekly radio show that go back all the way to the time where he was actually still moderating 4chan. The closest thing I've seen him being "far left" is that he is probably in constant touch with tranny DJs (which may or may not be his old SA buddies, as far as I can tell) and that he quickly got rid of his 8chan.org domain (which predates the 8chan imageboard by several years) for fear of getting caught in the backlash of whatever generic amerifat mass shooting took place at the time which 8ch took the blame for.

A lot of people make Snacks' role on 4chan bigger than it actually was because his meme was larger than life and it's the first thing newfags latch onto after reading the ED article on 4chan's history and all the flash animations of the time. In reality I don't think he was actually "involved" in 4chan for more than two years tops, just enough to take the brunt of the crackychan clusterfuck.

I'm exactly 7 months younger than Lowtax (and catching up to him every day...). My list of addictions is diet soda and a vape with no nicotine in it. Despite spending every other day in the hospital as a kid getting a cast or stitches just like most other kids from the era before health care became a feeder circuit for bankruptcy lawyers, my list of recurring maladies include getting fatter and brittle fingernails... you know, like most other middle aged people.

Like I said, things don't add up.

1. A man who cannot defend himself against a German movie producer / amateur pretend gym guy from even one punch did not manage to physically contain multiple e-girls long enough to beat any one of them up. Doesn't add up.

2. A man who cannot defend himself against a German movie producer / amateur pretend gym guy from even one punch did not manage to get some sort of permanent injury from physical activity. Doesn't add up.

3. Every pill head turned heroin addict I've ever met has got a story about some sort of degenerative nerve disease that has baffled the world since the dark ages. I'm sympathetic to the ones who got that way because they were a roofer or floor contractor working 60 hour weeks for 20 years. But the minute they respond to a question about their livelihood with "run a forum, get patreon bux" they lost me. Doesn't add up.

The people most invested in these narratives are invested because they fancy themselves a patreon celeb, high on xanax while sorting through e-girl plane tickets.

1. I'm pretty sure Boll could also beat the shit out of any Lowtax's exes as well, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Most normal people, especially women, aren't ready to throw down at a moment's notice; and the traumatic experience of someone you love coming at you violently isn't going to necessarily trigger a fight response. The notion that only physically stronger people are capable of abusing physically inferior people is not only ludicrous, it undercuts the other common narrative some people around this board like to bandy about irt physically abusive women.

I also don't think anyone thinks Lowtax was engaged in lengthy beating sessions with any of his exes ala War Machine. I think it's been pretty firmly established that his particular methodology was to be emotionally and verbally abusive with sporadic physical abuse like a slap or a punch or grabbing and holding them, but what he really liked to do was go right up to the edge of physical abuse and trying to bait them into violence where he could pretend to be the victim. For example, when his second ex wife texted him calling him an asshole and he stormed back upstairs screaming "SAY IT TO MY FACE BITCH" until she slapped him, and he got her arrested and claimed he got a concussion. Or the infamous "sweaty toes" incident.

2. This is just stupidity. People have underlying medical conditions that manifest in their 30s/40s all the time. Lowtax could have easily had a nerve condition that some random little thing triggered. It was always there, it's just that turning his neck a certain way one day while looking left made it manifest in an irreversible way. That's kind of the nature of physical conditions lol. I just straight up don't even understand what you're trying to say because if it I am interpreting it correctly, you're just stupid.

3. Congratulations, you are starting to conceptualize what people have been screaming for decades: There's a depraved for-profit pill pipeline in the US, where people are just prescribed insanely addictive painkillers instead of treatment for conditions, which leads to a dramatic increase in drug addiction. One doesn't need to be operating a fucking jackhammer every day to get injured lmao. How many hundreds of thousands of dollars did Lowtax feed back into the pharmaceutical industry over the years while waiting to get actual treatment?

Lowtax was an absolute trainwreck of a person, but like most pieces of shit did have some underlying stuff that certainly did him no favors. Who knows what would have happened had he never been put on the painkiller highway. He probably would have still been abusive, in hindsight his Integral breakup post is kind of fucked up and foreshadowed a lot of his later behavior towards his partners, but I don't know if he would have been this slurring and depraved maniac who couldn't even keep it together enough to do a livestream with his daughter and who literally killed himself out of spite.

If you're Lowtax's age, you're in your mid-40s and grew up in the mid to late 80s. The top music coming out during your childhood was stuff like Michael Jackson and Van Halen. You can stop LARPing as some boomer from Mad Men "when boys were boys and men were men" bullshit lmao.

Do me a favor and read the underlined parts and tell me if they sound consistent, sane, and likely to have happened just the way the e-girl describes them.

Here, I'll help translate:

1. "I fucked my therapist and he told me to gtfo his house or he'd have me arrested, so I got wasted and ran over his shrubs, and goddamn if he didn't have me arrested. I need to find a ticket out of town, pronto."

2. "I was barely able to get from the airport bar to Missouri without offering to blow a gay flight attendant. His rejection would've been awkward."

3. "I am a goddamn mess. My only hope for survival is getting multiple child support checks. Also, fuck them kids."

Press :autism: to doubt.

Most therapists are pretty well screened. Also, part of the skillset and mentality that it takes to become one usually disqualifies sex weirdos. Then again, maybe the bar really is that low in the US.

So yeah, I can understand saying it's cucky and traitorous to help CIA trust fund kids, grifters and serial abusers hide their misdeeds by censoring your website's users because you want to hang out at Google.
Even as a cucked traitor I still like moot more than Deadtax.

1 In November I was sexually assaulted
2 the assault made me go back to drinking
3 Rich said to report my assailant, earning my trust
4 I would see Rich every other month
5 the drinking [which began after the assault in November] didn't get bad until Rich started yelling
6 Rich has been gaslighting me for months
7 I was healthier before November
8 Rich showed up November 14
9 I'd been caring for him, a man I idolized since 12, since May

Sounds sane, actually. The only confusing thing about this is what she meant by "showed up" since she'd been in contact with him since May, but then again I never kept up with this stuff. Point is, just because someone doesn't speak succinctly when they're emotional that doesn't mean they aren't giving a proper chronology. This is basic witness testimony.

Shii, the guy from ADTRW who helped moot with setting up 4chan, made the best decision out of all by completely vanishing from both the chan-sphere and the internet as a whole after moot fired him. There is nothing to gain in the long run, it's all just a giant maelstrom of autism and failure.
Shii pulled out of the internet because he started to build a professional life (authored some papers, wrote a shitty book) and knew about the dangers of online permanence but also because there is a very clear line between his real name, his Shii persona and a bunch of SA posts he made where he basically admits to being a pedophile. If you find his personal blog you'll notice that he's been posting about neotrad stuff way before the altright or whatever was even a thing so I guess he was also a visionary with that

Lmao try being a DJ and not ever interacting with trannies.

I dunno, 3.5k a month spousal support is pretty fucking retarded. Frivolous shit like "maintaining her lifestyle" has no place in any divorce, even if he was a dumb faggot blowing his money on thai ladyboys. I'd get real spiteful about it too if I were in his shoes.
My condolences for the kids though.

That's really where he got on the highway to Hell. If there's one piece of advice nearly anyone needs, it is don't talk shit about exes. Ever. Unless you literally have to defend yourself in court. However horrible they were, YOU were the one who picked them in the first place. You don't have to be friends afterwards, although it's actually nice to have a friend who knows you at your worst and still likes you, but DO NOT make them enemies.

It is the most bitter and stupid way to fritter away your life in misery.

At its worst, it buys you an end like Lowtax.

He hasn't completely disappeared, he's a professor at a Tokyo university or something now and has a blog that is named after himself. /jp/ still has a few people who stalk him, but he definitely made the right decision to disassociate from 4chan when he did. I would say that probably nobody but losers who used 4chan back in the early to mid 2000s have any fucking clue who Shii was, unlike someone like Snacks whose greatest achievement in life was being apart of 4chan's staff for a year

We don't know that. In fact, it's entirely possible Snacks has a lot of real life achievements that don't show up on Clown Net.
