Just watched "Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead" the other night and hearing of Lowtax going tits up, I couldn't help but see so many similarities. For those who don't know of this documentary, it chronicles the rise and fall of the National Lampoon empire. Well worth a watch but I'd warn may not be relevant if you're a youngster. I grew up in the NatLamp era. They bucked tradition and published a lot of truly hilarious yet truly sick shit before the Internet became a thing.

Lowtax was similar to Doug Kenney in many ways. I used to goon around back at SA from it's beginning. Was fun and funny then, almost like NatLamp but online. As it grew and drifted off course from funny, so did I. Haven't visited in years.

So count me in the mixed feelings group. Truly a shame to see talent squandered.

Killing himself is the only good thing Lowtax has ever done. The guy was an entitled faggot and twofaced liar, but at least he gave the middle finger to his opportunistic vulture ex-wives on his way out. Now they're shit out of luck and will whine and probably e-beg online for money to buy whatever dumb shit crazy bitches waste their money on. All while claiming it's for the poor kids (it's not).

Kind of weird that the censorship-happy liberal lowtax became just another casualty of the family court system.

Yes, and so did the judge who ruled that lowtax was a domestic abuser because he denied his foreign wife access to an immigration pathway so he could threaten her with deportation how is this difficult to understand?
