Not to remain on that topic, but I doubt Kiara or even anyone at Cover has any idea of what happened. Phase at the moment is simply too small to land collabs with HoloEN, you won't see someone with their numbers collabing with them. Pikamee, Nabi, Uto all have much higher numbers and they got the collabs as far as I know, but with Phase a single one of the Holostars (not shitting on them, just saying their numbers are smaller in general) dwarfs them!

Polka collabed with a 1k subs Vtuber because they shared the same name.

Kuzuha collabed with rando small time Vtubers because he wanted new people to play Apex with.

Both are in JP branches of their respective branches, and at least in Holo's case (can't tell in case of Niji, I don't think I'm really seeing differences that wouldn't be more related to being a smaller fish in the Western pond) I'm fairly sure there's been multiple cases of the EN management not operating the same way as JP's.

But Scuttle had a point earlier that HoloEN seems particularly averse to collabs. it's been well over a year and HoloEN has collabed with 3 EN vtubers outside the company, 2 being from huge name companies. There is no such thing as too small.

HoloEN has been around for long enough that I think it's fair to say that they operate differently from other branches of Hololive and from Nijisanji or most other agencies. HoloEN is easily the most insular vtuber branch I can think of. Whether this is by design or by the desire of the individual members, it's still true. If Pomu, who is a member of an agency Hololive JP, ID, and Stars collab with basically every month in some form of another, can't get a collab with Kiara, Phase Connect doesn't have a chance.

That being said, this conversation is probably just going in circles (which I'm just adding too lol) because both sides are kinda right here. It's true that managers of agencies like Phase don't want to sour things with other agencies, and it's also true that Phase has a next to zero chance of collabing with HoloEN anyways.

I think it’s about time availability for talents and Kiara probably has more availability but her time zone suck ass for EN Vtuber in NA regions.

Fair, viewers can stop watching a streamer whenever, for whatever reason. I just normally don't see the need to make a big deal out of it as to make pro and con lists lol.

As someone who came from region that do eat insect as delicacies, the biggest problem of this idea is procuring enough insects to eat. There's a reason why you need tons of insect for just one person's meal, much less a lot of people. They're too small and has way less meat, and unless you have a plan to rapidly evolve them to be a livestock animal, its going to extremely difficult to make people eat insect
