What's hilarious is that it seems to be based upon a novel by some author who was at least noteworthy enough to get interviewed by NPR. I believe she was interviewed by This American Life. It was less fetishy but more "I became an unthinking horse to escape muh soggy knees."
Escape men who want you to ride them by becoming an animal men ride on?

Nah, bitch. That's a fetish you're trying to hide there.

There's a similar book from many years ago where a fashion model turns into a pig, and several where the poor put-upon white lady becomes a dog. Let's just say turning into an animal seems to be a fairly common fetish among feminists, troons and assorted sex weirdos.

This Horse RPG reminds me of a game a lolcow of mine made where you're a robot who is about to have their memories erased and all the players do is talk about their feelings and are powerless to do anything. You just transform into a blank slate not unlike horse where you're just a dumb animal who can no longer think. And yes, the author is a nonbinary trans SJW.

If you'll allow me to get slightly biblical for a moment here, this is all essentially a forbidden fruit for them.

You see this shit happening with a lot of radical/bigot types. They spend so much effort decrying and repudiating [thing], that [thing] gradually becomes exoticized in their mind. And with exoticization comes fetishization and suddenly they're jacking/rubbing it raw to [thing]. In this case, objectification and loss of agency is repudiated by Strong and Independent Women Who Don't Need No Men (as well as Failed Men Who Pretend To Be Women), and many of them end up fetishizing it.

Its more than just humiliation & horse fetish. I get what they're doing. Its stupid, its lazy, their point is wrong and dumb, but I get it.

See the woman in the story is giving up everything, her humanity, for comfort and love.
So you are supposed to discuss all the ways women have and do trade their agency for material comforts and how men only exist to take that agency in exchange for providing validation. Basically have a feminist bitch session about all the way their horrible partners have turned them into horses, completely ignoring the irony that feminist bitch club is being held in the house that Julie got in the divorce.

It also ignores that maybe bitch should get her own job, make her own money, and buy her own mansion, and maybe date a guy who isn't a weird fetish surgeon.

It is about that, but considering they cite Equus as an inspiration I'm going to assume it also involves a healthy dose of horse fucking.

Because no one learned from poor Kenneth Pinyan.

It does mention pregnancy and bestiality so there probably is that.

When did tabletop become so degenerate? (:_(

I don't remember anything as fucking weird as this when I was younger.
I know, this makes me want to read through Golden Sky Stories as a cleanser.

The story is by Amy Bonnafans, it appears in her compilation “The Wrong Heaven”. The Episode of this American Life can be listened to here: https://www.thisamericanlife.org/631/so-a-monkey-and-a-horse-walk-into-a-bar/act-two-1

You know, after the last year and a half and the last ten pages of this thread? I think I’d very much like to give this a read.

It's incredible that Ryo Kamiya managed to hide his extreme degeneracy long enough to write something as wholesome as Golden Sky Stories given that he has two games that are literally sex ttrpgs and most of his other works are extremely fetishy.

Text:
You are a woman in her late 20s. Life has not been kind to you, as much as you have tried to make things work. Your career was a mess, you were estranged from those who were supposed to love you, and you felt utterly lost in your life, not knowing who you were and what you were supposed to do.

But things changed when you met Him: a handsome, intelligent young doctor who came into your life and saw the light in you where everyone else saw emptiness.

Like you, He’s lived a lonely life. Deep beneath His confident personality and self-assured composure, you know that there’s a vulnerable, forlorn little boy who just wants to be loved. To love Him became your purpose. To truly live was to live with Him and for Him.

As time went on, you fell deeper in love as you grew further and further away from your friends and family - to the point where they barely seemed to exist anymore. That’s okay though. No one’s ever made you feel the way He’s made you feel. With Him, you finally feel safe.

So when He offers you a room in His mansion where the both of you can live together in bliss for the rest of your lives, you say “Yes!” - even if the sole condition is that you’ll be surgically and mentally transformed into a horse.

An entirely new body and mind is such a small price to pay for a lifetime of peace and happiness, you think.

Horse Girl is a solo GM-less journaling game in which you will document your surgical and mental transformation into a horse by the love of your life.

Content Warning: This game includes grotesque body horror, torture, dehumanization, bestiality, pregnancy, sexual situations, and consenting to having horrible things done to you by someone you love. Read and play with caution, keeping in mind that you can take a break or stop completely at any time.

This game was directly inspired by "The Wretched", by Chris Bissette, and by The Wretched & Alone SRD. This game was created using "How to Make a Wretched Game" by Litza.

Dedicated to all those who have had their lives irreparably ruined by the choices they made while under sound mind.

Inspired by such lovely, lovely films as:
Tusk, The Human Centipede Trilogy, Boxing Helena, and Equus.
Was Vaush one of its co writers?
