I'm a little surprised to see Fauna has that many viewers, since I personally can't get a read on her other than "chill, ASMR, gamer toxicity much more deeply buried than most of HoloEN, will probably have an aortic aneurysm if she plays more horror games". More power to her.

Gotta plug my beloved nekomimi cosplay gamer maid. She's singing tonight and its a miracle.

This is also very necessary.

Hololive 3rd gen is doing a karaoke relay. Marine was first, followed by Pekora, then Rushia, Flare and Noel.

Didn't watch the video but telling people that there are scammers doxxing is something different than explicitly showing off how they operate and alarming them. Above all things VShojo tried to hit the complete "cartel" all at once.
I would have warned people without undermining their efforts.
Just my two cents
vshojo isn't a law enforcement agency. They don't have the resources nor the expertise to 'hit the complete cartel all at once' and pretending like they do is only feeding into their exceptional delusions.

Could anyone who thinks Nyanners is in the right here explain how they think keeping quiet about a phishing scam and not alerting people is the right course of action?
They'd been sitting on the info for WEEKS and didnt tell anyone even though they were getting doxed and swatted. "Muh legal case" is not an excuse for putting people in harms way
The explanation (cope) is the same as Mori phoning in her collabs. Some people will excuse what their Oshi does. Regardless of how retarded they look.

Idk how true this rrat of VShojo having an ongoing investigation is, but I already had a suspicion that Nux posting that video could have possibly fucked up whatever the VShojo management was doing.

We just wait and see.
I don't know who else the anon mentioned, but I looked it up and Bao really did delete her tweet praising nux. Suffice to say, I have a feeling VShoujo and the talents really didn't like nux's video, especially now that Nyanners discord messages are spread around. Even that idiot VTuber Cringe posted the messages.

I have a suspicion now, that due to the sensitivity of the situation, Nyanners knew people would still leak the posts even in sub-only discord, and that's why she did it in the first place

Not saying Nyanners is in the right, I just don't think she's in the wrong. The original post was lathered with venom toward Nyanners and VSHOJO that framed any concerns she may have reasonably had as her just being 'buttmad' and I felt it was skewing opinions one way when we have little information on what's going on.

So I took the liberty of suffering through 12 minutes of Nux's video and, my rapidly depleting will to live notwithstanding, here's the rundown.

• He mentions on at least two occasions that he was fully aware he shouldn't be making the video, and that he 'called someone else' who told him it would be for the 'greater good' that he goes against their wishes.

• He details the passage of events chronologically, explaining in minute detail exactly how he caught them and essentially ensuring that any potential doxxers watching do not make the same mistake twice. His impact on the matter boils down to a lot of luck. He was a streamer who received an email saying he'd passed for VShojo which he didn't apply for, and a fan of his just-so-happened to be a part of the doxxing Discord, which allowed him a direct 'in' to ask for personal information of the person in question. He didn't actually 'doxx' anyone, meaning the evidence he provided was unilaterally admissable in court.

• As such, a large portion of the video boiled down to him 'flexing' on the doxxer, but also confirms that some form of 'action' or legal proceedings begun about two weeks prior to the video being uploaded. He was in direct contact with VShojo's CEO, as well as law enforcement for a while. Mudahar from SomeOrdinaryGamers was helping out in some way, too, but didn't make a video on it.

• Rather heartbreakingly, he shows screenshots of an Indie V-Tuber completely elated about the email, only to follow up with a tweet saying the police were at her door. He goes on to say this guy affected 'hundreds' of V-Tubers already.

The problem is that laying out voice clips of the doxxer and bragging that he 'doxxed the doxxer' (even though it wasn't a doxx) would give the person more wiggle room to defend himself, as it could be argued that the evidence pinning him was 'improperly obtained' on the basis Nux called it a doxx. Would that be effective? Who knows, but that's a headache VShojo previously didn't really have to think about. Any public notice prior to arrest is a problem, too, as Nyanners mentions, and if they're trying to build as strong a case as possible then this weakens their position.

That's not to say VShojo's management are innocent at all. There was evidently a failure to disclose to the public that there was a phishing scam from both the CEO (who was informed by Nux about it), or the official Twitter account. This inherently put a lot of people's lives at risk and that level of negligence is abhorrent. But Nux Taku's tactless, self-centered 'PSA' was opportunistic and didn't help the situation in the way you may think it did.

As for Nyanners: If she or any number of friends in the company were doxxed or even SWATted, it's only reasonable that she wants justice for it. A 'friend' directly interfering with that is a huge betrayal of trust.

Again, I'm not saying anyone is in the 'right,' I just think saying she's in the 'wrong' obfuscates the amount of wrongs other people did to get to that point. Nux has potentially jeopardised a felony charge for clicks.

thank you for taking the time and sacrificing your will to live to go through Nuxfag's vid. So, it's a classic clickbait title but the content doesn't match up plus he may have inadvertently warned/scared off the actual "big fish" Vshojo's management and/or legal team were hoping to snag?
Thats Vshojo's fault for praising him publicly. What were the others supposed to do? Not believe Vshoujo? lol
Vshojo could have issued a statement that whatever Nux has put out is in no way an endorsement/associated with them. Would it have alienated him? Yes but he is just one person.
