I just realized its really been a while since we got a new HoloJP gen. I must say, I can't imagine at all how their characters are going to be. Will we got natural airhead a la Miko/Nene? FPS addicts like Towa/Botan? Singers like Suisei/IRyS? Gremlin like Shion/Gura?

The new designs are interesting. I'm curious, has any one of the hololive girls gone through an actual redesign? I know they change costumes, but I mean the whole model. (This is all to say that still feel bad for Irys.)

I wonder if there will ever be an attempt to make them a bit more homogeneous.

Nene's was de-Sinicized. A bit more of a costume change than a total redesign, but she doesn't use the original anymore.

Mostly tweaks. IIRC, Nene was the only one to really undergo a whole redesign from character to model sense. The only other Holo I can think of is AZKi and/or Suisei depending on how you look at it.

I figured it would've been a legit consideration or a special bonus if one of or most of the talents were. They're technically kouhais to their EN senpais at this point and one would hope that Cover has learned at this point that EOPs are more than eager to open their wallets to JP talents that occasionally acknowledge them. Would've been nice to build more EN-JP inter-branch synergy by breaking down that language barrier a bit.
