We're talking about fictional characters versus real people here. There's always been nutcases who simp for political figures, just look at cases like Charles Manson.

this wasnt the case, it was shit like newspapers talking about his painting and people being like "man, it must suck to have been thrust into a job bcz of family pressure"

and like, i could get into an argument about this but i think lily has a point with this. i wont powerlevel but in my country we have a problem with people actually expecting good things from the people we elect and they keep making excuses or "at least they're better than [opponent]" so i do thing its fair to have high standards for people in power that can actually change things, but dont

Funny meem haha

Wait, the narrative now is that LILIANA was the one to bond with G? Did we forget the part where G has been the ONLY Gardevour in the entire pokemadhouse universe to non consentually force a bond with her trainer and apparently is also able to force other Gardevours to form bonds against their will?

G is not the annoying roomate Liliana is stuck with because she was stupid enough to want her. She's the repeatdly offending rapist that groomed her from childhood so throughfully that Liliana would have a full mental breakdown if she wasn't there every day of her shitty life.

Also wow is that how Liliana views all pets? As just drainers where her moneys goes and sources of innecesary stress? This is the same woman who wants to adopt a dog? That poor thing is going to get so abused the moment Liliana realizes that real life creatures are even more demanding than any pokemon waifu.

Heh, the last post.
Motherfuck. Too close to PreciousLeaf in that. And the games aren't too difficult, you can even beat anything with a Sunflora lvl. 100. Or using a motherfucking Ice Beam with a Ice Pokemon, since you know, any Dragon/Ground and Dragon/Flying is fucked up against Ice

Why does she hate Cynthia so much again?
No idea. She's actually Lily's second-least favourite champion, if the Red/Blue video still stands.

If I had to guess, it's something stupid. Might be because Lily hates Garchomp, which Cynthia just happens to own. Notice how Diantha is her favourite for the sole reason of owning a Gardevoir. The stupid woman put Blastoise on her top ten worst Pokemons: She has no taste.

Until you reach the rematch after Stark Mountain. Cynthia goes FULL competitive on the player.

Oh right Diamanta! Who, in her comic, she wrote her having a toxic relationship with her Gardevoir, and who currently sits in jail for poke-bestiality. A relationship where the pokemon gets possesive over her mate and violently lashes at anyone that comea close to her mate.
Who servea as a parallel to Lily and G, and a reminder to Lily for how G could become if they'd act on their feelings. G, who is totally not also possesive of her mate and violently lashes out at anyone who comes close to Lily.

Good fucking god Lily. You truly are an overly affectionate and too giving for your own good

Pretty sure she's trying to be a 'cool contrarian kid'. Cynthia is pretty broadly considered the best Champion both in terms of being a tough fight as well as just being a cool character with a cool design.

You can also see here that Lily is trying to prove that she's 'better' than than OTHER Pokemon players because SHE never had trouble with the Cynthia fight you guys, Lily is just the GREATEST POKEMON TRAINER and you're all pathetic dudbro scrubs. Ignore that Lily literally just cheats herself a billion Rare Candies and probably does go up against Cynthia wtih a level 100 Gardevoir.

(Also man Cynthia's design really is great.)

Nah, you're thinking of Nikolai, who was thrown into prison because he and his Gardevoir were dang dirty males.

Diantha has a mating bond with her own Gardevoir, of course, but uses her position as League Champion in order to keep from being investigated by League Enforcers for abuse. She was implied to be some kind of villainous figure that Lily and G have bad blood with, but as with everything that might actually be remotely interesting about Madhouse this is barely brought up in the comic (if at all) and goes nowhere.

I think maybe Lily was going to use Diantha as the one trying to break up Lily and G's mating bond? She had planned a story arc where the two were actually investigated and arrested and had to go through the agony of separation but then decided not to do that, presumably because it would actually make her characters face adversity and present an interesting conflict and she'd rather faff around with endlessly retreading the conflicts we've already established.

I remember beating Cynthia when I was like 10, Diamond and Pearl weren't very difficult to begin with, especially since they hand you the box art legendary about three fourths of the way through the game.

I think it was the popularization of nuzlockes and speedruns that made people realize how difficult Cynthia was when you couldn't spend hours grinding to prepare for her. That being said, Lily has a penchant for bragging and acting like an edgy teenager, especially when it comes to how well she does in video games.
She once bragged about sweeping high tier teams with Gardevoir. A feat which is certainly possible in some generations of Pokemon, but remains dubious considering that she's a liar.

Again this is possible but there's nothing amazing about it. Her response to people using charizard is just using an other overused fan favorite.
Do it with a dunsparce, then we'll be impressed.

Hmm, I ckecked the wiki again and Diamantha's story is really, really messed up. Why does she write so fucked up backstories for her uwu-wholesome-lesbian-found family-friendship story?
Keep lording that edge.

Basically, it wasn't Diamantha was interfering with the League's investigation, it was that her Gardevoir, Syir, was murdering the inspectors and hiding their bodies.
She treathened to kill all of Lily's loved ones once she and G came to investigate.
The League somehow got wind of the killings (i think? It's kinda vague) and arrest Diamantha for bad handling of her pokemon.
As Lily's writing Stockholm over and over again, it's revealed that Diamantha was actually forced into an abusive relationship by Syir, ala Ascentia. For some reason Diamantha (who is arrested?) runs to Lily for help who refuses to do so 'cus she scared that Syir might kill her family.
And of course, as caring as Lily is about abuse victims, not only doea she refuses help to Diamantha, she also contacts Syir about her whereabouts. End of page.

It's as cannon as anything else in madhouse. Just from this addition of lore I wouldn't be able to guess that Diamantha is one of Lily's favourite trainers. Just saying.

Apart of how fucked up it is that comic Lily, appearently delivered an abuse victim back to her abuser, where the abuser is a mass murderer non the less...

Also, agreed - Cynthias design really is great.

Hah, amazing! That's a retcon. It definitely used to be that Diantha and her Gardevoir were in on it together and working to suppress information-- I remember that distinctly because at the time I was asking why Diantha didn't use her authority as head of the League to legitimize their relationship.

This is even better.

It's a setup to make Lily and G's relationship look better by comparison, and it also lets Lily be superior to the official League champion both in terms of her relationship and in terms of being able to lord her superiority over a groveling rival. It's another wish fulfillment fantasy of being the best, and being the only one 'allowed' to have this amazing relationship, and being able to do it all without actually having to lift a finger to make herself better-- somebody else gets torn down, and that's the only way Lily can elevate herself or her characters.

Also nicely done, telling a psychopathic monster that can create localized black holes and/or explode your head where their terrified abuse victim is. The best part is that if she ever actually wrote this, Lily would be 100% justified and right in doing that.

Amazing.

Days like this I wish someone can just write of fanfic where comic Lily gets what she deserves while at same time not becoming has awful as her. Like some virtuous hero stopping an evil dictator only it a woman who is pretty much an ass to everyone. With annihilating the murdererous Gardevoir as the start.

Don't all Pokemon games hand you (well, give you the oppertunity to catch) the boxart legendry before the Elite 4 (since that's basically the second climax of the story)?

Damn it, if only the members of the Pokemon Leauge had really strong and skilled Pokemon that could take down one high level Gardevoir. Even Ash needed to switch out his broken Pikachu in battles.
