At this point, i'm scavenging for all the chris chan content i can find.

If this isn't the real ending, i dont know what is. The letters are boring already, and we're probably getting another continuance for his court hearing or not getting an audience at all.

Chris i hate you, but reading about you was funny, why did you have to fuck your own mother?
Let’s be honest the last legitimately memorable and funny thing Chris did was the GameStop Incident, most of everything else has been a steady and depressing decline into the shitshow we have today.

Blah-blah-blah.
Blah-de-blah-blah.

Gentlemen, please, take it somewhere else. That's what private conversations and profile pages are for. This is a board for random thoughts about Chris.

Chris sounds really "redneck" when he mentions he likes music with stuff like washboards.

The Beatles started out with a washboard. Just saying.

What you play doesn't make your music "redneck". It's how many teeth you still have left that does.

Chris has a fetish for his own mother, Zelos has a fetish for his own mother. Acquiring info from primary sources can be more insightful than waxing poetically about hypotheticals.

Janke and the motherfucking happened while all you oldfags were greasing your axles with thought experiments instead of seeing what was happening in front of you.

I'm genuinely surprised a ween hasn't checked up on Barb in the house or a least one final interview from Barb as the only one I can think of was a scammer who never released it.

What made Barb into the terrible person she became? She doesn’t have any mental illness as an excuse to coast on so what was it? Shitty and neglectful parents, physical or sexual abuse some other trauma? We also discuss how Chris became such a bad individual, but what about the very people who raised him? Aren’t their backgrounds just as important? What happened to Bob and Barb to turn them into such lousy parents and people? Where they possibly just born that way? What could it be?

We just don't know much about Barb's early life. The cwcki mentions something about her grandfather being a negligent drunk, but that's about it.

I think it's a bit of both there are mental issues with Barb, and the way she was raised could have an impact. Living with eight different partners can tell what a man should be.

It has long been suspected that she has some form of narcissistic personality disorder, which goes hand-in-hand with what we know about her neglectful to abusive relationship with Chris, along with his half-brother Cole Smithey, who received a much worse treatment from her.

Mental

Barb's maternal grandfather was an alcoholic moonshiner, who carried out affairs and failed to provide even the most basic support for her mother's family
decided to set off on her own... in search for romance and her future". Either before or after she left her mother disowned her. After she left home, "her siblings, cousins, and others in Redoak" began to spread rumours about her and call her a slut in her absence
Barb aggressively went after one of her sisters' husbands or fiancés when she was young, alienating herself from all of her siblings except for Corrina, who remained on good terms with her "for some reason".
What happened to Bob and Barb to turn them into such lousy parents and people?
I guess it could be age, laziness since both of themwere retired when Chris went to PVCC. While they did not learn, she still has a hoarding problem, and finical issues are still a thing despite her current health.
Where they possibly just born that way? What could it be?
Do not forget that Bob and Barb could consider white trash; they live in a small town and often do not leave the state to see the rest of the country or the world. However, Cole managed to live that lifestyle and made a new life in New york.
It is rumoured that her family may have come from incest before her grandpa. Maybe those genes fucked with the rest of the family.

Maybe it's only because Sonic was such a late addition to Lego Dimensions but I've always been very surprised that Chris never latched onto it. Hell, it almost feels custom made for him, with dimensional merges, Legos, 80/90s movies, tons of money to waste on frivolous product, and eventually even Sonic. Maybe he just wasn't interested in the initial batch of characters, or was just too preoccupied with Skylanders.
I agree but I also think Skylanders did ultimately play more into Chris's fantasy priority at the time, which was flat out trying to visualize himself as a girl and/or god, usually simultaneously. I recall Skylanders had that absolutely absurd create-your-own figure thing which Chris absolutely adored because he made his idealized self with angel wings and a sword and shit. Lego Dimensions, ultimately, didn't allow you to self-insert yourself which as we know is a key element - it isn't simply yet another autistic crossover that is the CWCville dimension (Dimension C-137 which itself was taking from Rick and Morty IIRC), it all had to glorify Chris as the main character.

I was going to say there also was Chris launching himself into a one-man campaign of vandalism across the greater Charlottesville area by defacing the copies of Sonic Boom on store shelves with his stupid "do not buy" cover inserts and then bitching online about how one store he went to had all the games protected behind a locked cabinet and he couldn't get to deface them. But given that was still part of the blue arms debacle which itself led to the Gamestop Incident, I suppose that kind of just folds into that.

This would line up with the video he posted some time ago showing him actually going to CWCville. It was him sitting in his room with his eyes closed and talking about stuff he was seeing in the cartoon world.
Really? Which one was that? I remember the one where he pretends to be Magi-Chan and keeps closing his eyes in deep 'meditation', but not anything like that description.

My apologies if this has been discussed already, but how sure are we that Barb is being taken care of by her sister, the sister's husband, and her brother? I understand that this came from a letter written by Chris, but I thought there would be more evidence of their being in 14BC. I have also read that someone disposed of all of Chris's stuff. Is that true as well?

Some quick searching of the wiki shows I may be getting a bunch of his delusions mixed up, though in my defense it's not like any of this shit makes sense anyway.

The video I'm thinking of likely is the meditation video, given he just sits in front of a computer with his eyes closed and somehow this changes reality. Apparently I was actually recalling his statements about "astral projection" which is how he claimed to go there (as of this facebook post: https://sonichu.com/cwcki/November_2017_Facebook_posts#Gamindustri.27s_enemies_attack_CWCville).

And then I guess to tie this all together, the reason he claimed to be punching holes into his wall was that 'iron curtain' bullshit to try and literally pull a Gurren Lagann and force a hole in spacetime he could just walk through into cartoon world or something. Part of me wonders if he's still trying to do the wall punching thing while he's incarcerated.

I've always read his Toon town stuff as him not realising He's day dreaming and not separating it from reality as a mix of avoidance and way of coping with his reality and as times gone on he's increasingly not able or willing to separate the two and because his life sucks he's going there more and more often.

Which raises the question: what if Chris never saw the movie 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' or basically any media that involves going into a cartoon/animated world (I.E. Mary Poppins when they jump into the street art)?

Nah, even when not exposed to stuff like that, kids still have imaginary friends and whatnot. My personal and entirely unscientific explanation is that religious feelings in adults come from that same part of the brain, only tempered with rationality to avoid scenarios that defy logical explanations.

This was easier thousands of years ago when there was no good explanation for say, a bolt of lightning -- it was perfectly plausible to attribute it to an angry god. The appeal of religion remains today even though they have to take more abstract interpretations of it (God caused the electromagnetic force to exist, and now lightning bolts happen because of that).

The imaginary friend, dimensional merge, etc. is just that same feeling unfettered by the need for rationality. Learning to control it is a time-honored rite of passage for children as they learn to stop playing make-believe. Even in times when most people believed in ghosts (and they still do in much of the world), there's a certain understanding of the line between make-believe and true-and-honest ghosts.

When I was very little I talked to imaginary cartoon friends before I saw media like Roger Rabbit. In fact, I found Roger Rabbit odd and amusing because of how the toons could actually physically interact with the world instead of just hanging out there.

Come to think of it, Chris doesn't even reference Roger Rabbit that much. Most of his toontown shit seems to come from Rick & Morty, media he consumed later in his life. Just further evidence that Chris' brain never developed beyond make-believe.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, I guess I'm a bit wrong about Roger Rabbit. Old Chris definitely formed the seeds of toontown beliefs from Roger Rabbit, using it in explaining his beliefs to Alec Benson Leary. The Rick and Morty stuff simply took more prominence later via the Idea Guys. That said, I still stand by the make-believe explanation.
