It's rather disturbing that Kelly gave the crocodile, a reptile, some sort of breasts. One supposes that if men can be women, then reptiles can be mammals, at least in within the sort of Reality Distortion Field in which creatures like Kelly lurk. The English, ie. Anglos, Saxons, Frisians etc. were colonizers of Great Britain. They moved in after the Romans left. They displaced the native peoples, the Celtic Britons, into the western portion of the Island, Wales and Cornwall, and off the Island altogether, onto Brittany (little Britain). There are very, very few Celtic place names in England and the Welsh are genetically different from the English. All of this encouraging people to be open about mental health has gone too far. No one should talk about their suicidal ideations in a place their kids could discover it. It’s like she’s trying to fill up the “how to fuck up your kids” bingo card.
Fuck up your kids and being unhappy with their school will look like the good old days. Little kids have little problems, big kids have big problems. Like getting caught up in the criminal justice system or getting into shitty relationships with the first person who gives them the attention they never got at home.

Not trying to get into a covid sperg but aside from Kelly, has anyone even heard of the term long covid? Where did it come from and what does it actually mean?
Or am a I just dumb and it is something she truly made up?

It's something coined to describe people who have genuinely nasty health problems after contracting Covid. Like an otherwise healthy teenager who now has major issues with his lungs that can't be explained as anything other than aside effect of having been ill with the virus.

Short long CoVD sperg. A number of viral diseases - you get it & although you recover from the worst symptoms, you can be left with something generically called Post Viral Syndrome & that can take different forms. We saw it with SARS - a lot of people who contracted that were left with chronic exhaustion, brain fog, constant muscle/joint pain, difficulty breathing & a umber of other symptoms & were never able to return to work. Sadly, some need a daily cocktail of drugs just to manage minimal functioning.
We don't know if long CoVD, (PVD), will be permanent or not. Some patients currently, eventually recovered while others are still struggling.
Kelly doesn't fit the parameters of patients currently prone to long CoVD. Newly emerging studies show that these patients are: young, fit or otherwise healthy, NOT typically overweight & had a mild initial case of CoVD. She only fits the last one & if 1 or more tests have shown that's not what she's got then that's not what she's got.

The symptoms of this strange illness began with fever, sore throat, and lethargy. In patients who were severely affected, lethargy and sleepiness gave way to sleep inversion, in which the normal sleep-wake cycle is reversed, then catatonia or a coma-like state called "akinetic mutism". Many patients died, and those who survived the acute phase of the illness were often severely disabled, requiring institutional care. These survivors frequently experienced serious neurological sequelae, including a movement disorder resembling Parkinson disease, dystonia (abnormal, repetitive movements caused by involuntary muscle contractions), klazomania (a vocal tic characterized by involuntary shouting), muscle weakness and tremors, episodes of abnormal eye movements called oculogyric crises, and behavioral changes such as aggression and psychosis. Many lingered in mental institutions for the remainder of their lives. If you've seen the film Awakenings, the patients Robin Williams's character treats with levodopa are encephalitis lethargica survivors.
In 1926, as quickly as EL had appeared, it vanished and has not been observed again. The causative agent has never been definitively identified, although an enterovirus has been isolated from samples of preserved patient tissue. Enteroviruses, of which poliovirus is probably the most widely known, are known to cause both encephalitis and polio-like syndrome in humans.
Because it appeared to coincide with the influenza pandemic, many scientists believe that something about the particularly virulent strain of influenza which ravaged the entire world may have predisposed some survivors to the effects of another virus, which itself caused encephalitis lethargica.

Wouldn't this match up with data showing that covid can cause flare ups of things like Shingles? Or is that a different biological mechanism?
Regardless, Kelly is just trying to be a spoonie but in a way that people will take her seriously. The truth is that it's impossible to tell whether she's feeling better or worse as a result of her (unconfirmed) covid infection, because she's so incredibly unhealthy already that it's doubtful she knows what "feeling normal" is in the first place. If you walk around all day with a 40 pound backpack on, you only realize how much discomfort you were in when you get home and take it off your back. Kelly can't do that, so it's absolutely impossible for her to estimate what her baseline physical wellbeing should be.
