I've recently found out that you could install mods on consoles for Skyrim ever since the Special Edition. This made me wonder why Phil insists on playing that shit vanilla, I'm sure that the modding capabilities are weaker for consoles compared to PC but still I'm sure that it's moddable enough to enhance the experience of the game immensely. Then I thought about it for more than 5 seconds and realized that it's maybe for the best because the first two Skyrim streams would consist of multiple boomer segments, Phil needing to be handheld every step of the way and him taking 20 minutes just to install one mod because he'd have to examine every single word in the description along with every single rating that other people gave the mod.
Something great came from my own experience with installing mods was for Dungeon Keeper for Windows, notably called KeeperFX, which fixed many bugs and performance issues and added player created content too with campaigns ranging from easy to v.hard and using the Deeper Dungeons expansion which is like from Easy to Legendary in very short times

Basically, I had a lot of self-education in using mods and learning how they are to be installed, what they do, what features, pros/cons, what you are allowed to work with v what the game intended you to use and restrict mechanics not even worth using giving you a clear challenge..

Basically it's like C&C with using a single Commando to complete very interesting missions and go against a 1:10 ratio of forces, they may slap you sure but if you play it right and sometimes out of the box you can do it, move too quick and you are outnumbered and outmatched, move too slow and the enemy will build up to counter while you're vulnerable...

Pretty much why mods are an accepted form of New Game+ and more

Even DLC is just official modded content which is monetized...

I still remember Phil saying "God of war came out 4 years ago its old as shit who cares if its on PC" .. the he proceeds to play Skyrim on fucking console. King of hypocrisy peak performance people.. like I know gun takes affect in pig brains sometimes.. but damn that'd probably the long term consumption will get you too + being in a bubble + bullshitting of about how he has some alcohol tolerance since he is a slave of gin and needs it like its his blood vessel.

I’m sure his response would be (and has been, I dunno, I don’t watch his shit) that it’s not the baseline experience as intended by the developer which, if one knows anything about Bethesda games, is so far from the mark of ideal that twenty-something dweebs regularly and reliably improve on it typically within a few hours of any new release having been datamined. The current game modding community writ large emerged from shared improvement projects on games like Oblivion, and for Bethesda games in particular they fix hundreds and thousands of bugs which can range from annoying to game-breaking and which shipped in their final products anyway.

I explain all of this just to say that Phil’s opinion is that “the experience as intended by the developer”, especially in AAA releases, is often objectively worse than what mods are able to offer. He is lazy and afraid enough of learning and potentially struggling and opening himself to ridicule that he will instead willingly subject himself to a crappy game.
Other people have given good reasons as to why he doesn't use mods.

But he has said it himself. Apart from him being to stupid to figure out how to do it even on X Box, it removes his ability to go: " ACHIEVEMENT!! XX Gamerpoints".

That is still something I have a hard time understanding, him giving a shit about achievements/trophies. But I'm guessing it's his addict mindet chasing that ass pat/dopamine hit.

PHIL NEEDS THAT 🏆
He won't be a troo retro gamer sage critic gamer if he doesn't have it !
But also, his TIME is precious so he can't get all of them because alotta peepul want him to play something else !

I believe his paranoia and ego has fully sapped his capacity to have actual fun in games unless he is in a position to dominate and sweep the opposition, though he can't even set up scenarios to favor his "I see, I smash" gameplay.

Mods usually bring harder and unexpected content. His Potato Highness won't have it. Can't smash through khantent and flailing potato appears. Trolls win.

Phil has to have the final say in everything, which includes gameplay. Aside gacha addiction, why play to play when he can pay to play ?

The 1st whale call of the year. Damn the rebranding certainly works wonders Phil. I ma just waiting for his calls when he play the hot releases. I bet he will milk elden Ring and Dying Light 2 to the max (while the "chills" have already< finished them and playing the next hot releases)

Near end of boomer segment slow night stream status:

Total tip: $62

Top tips: Bosco V and OIC (under Bob Harris sock) each tipped $20

Double tweet slow stream tonight

Still no money coming in until he does his imprompt ask the pig segment

Where Bosco V and Bob Harris (a OIC sock, he was in Chat and eluding to tipping) together combined for $40 out of the $62 tips

DSP now describing the car accident that led to his back injury as "fatal"

Everyone who talks about the weight they lift online is lying. That being said, I just deadlifted 2000lbs.

It saddens my soul to say I play Skyrim on console but I have some fun mods on it gave a nice lipstick on a pig feel, you know like Kat in makeup. Phil is also playing on kahnsole The anniversary edition with no mods, Watching his streams made me start a new file just to make sure I still loved the game.
Wait, I thought the Anniversary Edition comes with built in mods even on consoles? (like backpacks and such).

For what it's worth, Dave going back to Skyrim made me start a new playthrough as well, which lead me to discover Wildlander (a modpack which overhauls the entire game) and I'm playing the shit out of it right now.

achievements are disabled when you use mods, and we all know about his fetish for reading achievments

Yeah, but I was under the impression that the anniversary edition had implemented creation club items/mods by default.
Things like backpacks and the whole fishing mechanic weren't present in previous editions.

Anniversary Edition is basically just a DLC which adds multiple creation club items to the game.

I didn't get a chance to comment on the Pokimane/DSP... thing? But I don't really care either. All i want to say is thus: Isn't this the guy who sat down in the area where he streams to hundreds of people, whipped out his dick, stroked it, orgasmed, and then proceeded to hit his captive audience with a fat snort before he realised what happened?
Isn't he the guy who then tried to pretend he didn't, banned anyone who mentioned it, and then "accepted the meme" instead of ever apologizing for what he did?

Oh but because Pokimane shows feet and moans and acts cute SHE'S the devil who deserves a ban? This is just him setting up to go "See? Twitch banned all the thots and radical leftiests who say 'cracker'! They care about gamers! Lets go back. Whalecome home! Fucking creep.

Not to defend Phil but I'm pretty sure the guard NPC script is supposed to start the "you have commited crimes against skyrim and her people what say you in your defense" dialogue there.

So its bugged but so is Phil for thinking his actions don't have consequences.

Too bad he wont play with at least the unofficial patch that fixes that and a million other bugs.
He had Barba with him and I am fairly certain the dog companion AI just always aggros hostile NPCs regardless of what the player does. Normal human companions will actually sheathe their weapons if you do to surrender to a guard from what I remember.

And when it is all done and he doesn't get a mod installed right he would just go on a rant about PC players needing mods for every little thing and how they are gross perverts who ogle women and you should be playing games the way devs intended.

Then he would flip out when an item vanishes from his game and someone mentions a mod fixed that bug.
it's kinda funny his gameplay and commentary in the "modern era" are about the same he just seems like he can hold his booze better but damn...

- can't read
- makes random out of place pop-culture reference
- "fuck you"
- "huh?" cause he doesn't know whats killing him
- no spacial awareness
- keeps doing the same thing over and over
- uncomfortable forced laughter
- burping and body noises
- grunting
- confusion by things that clearly happen in the game
- gets lost going form point a to b
- tries to rush through something, does something stupid, says it's a bug
- really obvious observations like fire ants shooting fire

the only real difference besides being obviously drunk is he admitted he screwed up the big town mission it wasn't a bug or lag
A real testament to his genius is drunkenly uploading all those videos as well. Even so drunk he lacks more awareness than usual he still could upload videos to youtube.

I dont get how he's already begging for tips, mofo had like 150 per stream during the first week of January. There is no fucking way he spent it all already. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, his whales are something else.
Just saw he didn't only tweet he also said "We are 1 hours into the stream and we have 4$ in tips. Tomorrow is my day of and I checked how much I have and it's not much." I know it's something on repeat but this piec of shit does not know how to manage money. He is an a cycle: beg for money -> get the money -> spend the money. Rinse and repeat. Save the money does not exist in this gin addled brain. And then the good old "You are withholding tips" stick. Seriously Phil get fucking help

It's actually very easy and only takes a few minutes to blow through hundreds of dollars...

Easily.

Ah........the dreaded threat that you won't really be answering anyone's questions and just repeating the same shit you do everyday. How can people resist?

What allegedly died? His career?

He's trying to condition the piggies to hit the $150 every stream. Plus, yes, it is all spent.

He twisted the "unprecedented" support he got from the vest streak and twisted it to the point that he needs it just to survive. His bank leaks show that he has no ability to save money or even remotely budget after years of self proclaimed "financial hardships" and even proved that he spent more on iTunes on average than on his groceries or on his real bills. The money is gone before he starts his next stream.
