It's not even the bad game playing that bothers me it's the total shit commentary. He has the humor of a 12 year old boy trying really hard to be funny. The scat jokes only go so far. It's going to be hilarious to see an 80 year old Phil still acting like a brash twat and begging for money.

This is how I think the whole job situation went down:

• Phil got his Helicopter job with daddy's help.
• Phil underperformed.
• His supervisor wanted to lay him off, but it was an awkward situation because Phil is Dave's son.
• Instead of laying him off, they put him into a postion where he can't fuck up anything major.
• The supervisor changed workplaces/got transferred.
• New supervisor wonders who the retard with the oddly shaped head is, and lays him off after watching him underperform for couple of months.

Remember all those $200 Superchats he got last month? Those should be coming in soon. Imagine how shocking it will be when there is no actual decrease in his 'short-term' begging after repeatedly saying how those 'REALLY help in the long-term'. Don't remember how many he got, but it was definitely 4 (so, at least an extra $800 minus whatever YT takes) that he'll get in his YT payment, and he'll probably behave as though it never happened.

I think Phil not simply underperformed but also made demands to accomodate him (like a special chair for his hurt back). Plus he worked a lot from home (by his own admission he worked late at home to get jobs done and that's why he got the laptop) which could also be painted as "he was so slow that he had to do overtime" or he came in so late each day his work time shifted to klate in the day

As a CSR, you have to regularly achieve KPIs or otherwise they’ll transfer you to a different team/project after several months underperforming. If you keep underperforming in a different project, they’ll get rid of your ass, which is likely what happened with Phil.

Since we’re on that subject, the “extra work” he mentioned about “reworking processes” is almost a textbook definition of what a Quality Analyst usually does in Call Center projects - evaluate results, processes and try to find the root causes as to why some KPIs may not be achieved by the team overall. Once the root causes are identified, work on possible solutions and a common one is to “trim the fat” on bloated processes to, for example, decrease average handling time in calls and suggest those to Management.

Chances are someone probably talked about it and Phil thought he was so special for trying and (miserably) failing at doing something above his pay grade for free, thinking he’d get that promotion because he’s so special.
