Fallout Equestria, by Kkat / Kkatman - fascist sex horses and the insane fanfic writers powering their existance

At the very least it's a reference to the actual show and not this abomination of a crossover. ...right?
Yeah, as someone with a good memory and the inauspicious distinction of having read the fanfic and watched most of the show; those are in fact just show references.

It might if they don't reference anything related to FoE. Still doesn't excuse the fact they slipped an MLP reference that bronies could no doubt sperg over.

Then it would be broken and buggy as Hell... Not that Fallout 4 isn't already buggy.
On a bright side for those that despise the horse autism, it wouldn't have said horse autism bronies love. On that same note, it could be on a different engine that could be leagues better in terms of stability.

You say that but there's always the possibility of the horse autism mutating into a different strain.

Nah, I don't know man, My Gravity Falls/Warhammer 40k crossover fan fiction is better than Pride and Prejudice and A Tale of Two Cities combined.

I know this was from almost a month ago and I missed this in my last post in this thread, but...I actually could see a Gravity Falls/WH40K crossover working purely because Bill Cipher is a textbook chaos god canidate and Gravity Falls having gone seriously WTF in the "this is a kids show?!" content department that is borderline minimum WH40K grimderpness.

In all fairness to Fallout 4, doing nothing more than slipping in a few references in what is nothing more than set dressing is how a reference should be done. While I have not played Fallout 4, I'm certain you do not need to access those messages in that computer at all to understand the major game plot, and even if you do read them and don't know an iota about what it could be referencing, they're written such that they still provide in-universe fluff you would expect to find left lying around after a nuclear apocalypse. The key detail about all this, basically: it's not shoving the reference in your face as part of actual gameplay. For an example of how not to do references, there's...well, basically everything from Duke Nukem Forever, but namely the forced bit where Duke disses the idea of needing power armor and the camera is focused on what is clearly supposed to be Master Chief's original helmet.

This is barely a reference and more of a Joke that people put in too much thought into.
A 'pony' is a small equine.
A pony is also a gift that many young girls stereotypically request.

This is not remotely an mlp reference.
With all that considered, the only MLP reference there was just some terminal mentioning painting a horse toy pink, as one posted earlier. If Bethesda were to reference Fallout Equestria, they'd probably have too reference something that pertains specifically to it (though that means taking something not taken from Fallout such as the vomit masturbation).

Kinda spergy for me to post on a dead thread, but this garbage really gets under my skin. So yeah, really hate how I can't properly browse DA for Fallout fan art without encountering pony shit. How is crossing over a show for little girls with an M-rated RPG shooter supposed to be clever? But to be fair, Deviant art has always been a shithole of a site. Glad I rarely even bother going there.

:autism:

But seriously it's the idea that "mature thing with dark topics"/"little kids thing" crossovers are amazing cause you're making the thing for kids dark and edgy.

That or some people can't appreciate Fallout by itself and need ponies in it.

I found out about this shite through Something Awful. How someone can see a cute cartoon about colourful ponies and think, "Ooh, better write grimderp post-apocalyptic fanfic about this with lots of rape and torture" is beyond me. And it's longer than most books I've read. How can anyone possibly spend so much time on this sort of thing?
Should I tell you guys about PonyHammer 40k?
Every time I think I couldn't hate Warhammer fans any more...

I remember reading this once and wondering why the fuck it was so dense. Autistic of a concept as it is they could have tried to make the story interesting.

But vomit fap material > story, I guess.
Making a fan-fic of Fallout with MLP wouldn't really be interesting unless the author managed to somehow make it like My Immortal. A Fallout fan-fic with ponies comes off as grimderp, edgy, and autistic.

I've stated in the bronies thread how FoE makes me feel, so I'll spare you that a-log.
Serious question:
Is it Giddy-up Buttercup they decided was a nod to bronydom?
Buttercup was a nice in-game kids toy model and it was great when Zetans sperged over it like it was some ultimate warmachine.Knowing some brony probably made a character of it and mass debated to it makes me kinda not want to collect Buttercups for settlements anymore.:c

Edit: If it is Buttercup, that is. Otherwise I was too busy humoring Preston to notice anything else.
