Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

Y’know, no matter how this ends, the biggest take aways from this are that we Canadians finally found our balls again, and that no one gives a shit about the Olympics.

Think Xi’s pissed that the Leafs are getting more headlines?
Considering our spat with the CCP over the last two years, probably.

Which is fucking hilarious.

Been trying to catch up with this thread all week, and I've finally done it.

The smaller pickups from farmers and just other working class folks remind me of the Trump boat/car parades that happened in the US right before the election. Biden could only drag some trucks into parking lots to mimic the spontaneous enthusiasm of people creatively getting around gathering restrictions.

Honk on.

Honestly train horns help me sleep. Nothing more soothing than the sound of train's. Go ahead rate me autistic that's just my asthethic.
Late, but IA. Trains aren't as common in my area as they used to be, but your mind starts blocking them out surprisingly fast.

Which makes me laugh even harder at how naïve and stupid they are. If the working class - farmers especially - were taken away in chains, who is going to make and deliver their food to begin with? These people seem incapable of taking care of themselves, let alone the massive farms you can get on the prairies of 3,000 head of cattle. Even if they all go vegan like the cucks they are, Canada is a Winter Country. If their plants don't die from the snow, they'll die off because they probably don't even understand the concept of seed collection and once that plant croaks, they couldn't replace it.

They constantly are hurling abuse at the people that basically feed them, clothe them, and keep them warm and with money as the backbone of the Canadian economy isn't reddit farts but hard, strenuous jobs like Oil and Gas, Forestry, Farming, etc. They want those of us who work in here to be punished for inconveniencing them with HONK, when the reality is without us, they'd be starving in the streets like a Ukrainian under Stalin.

If the global supply chain really does become fucked up from this, and we see famine hit this country, I think the bugmen will finally learn the meaning of "hard times" and "discomfort". I'd fully expect them to keep screaming at the blue collar workers for it on twitter if it happened, but I doubt it would be for long since some of these idiots would die without soymilk. All I'm going to do is lean back, enjoy the fruits of my labour from last year in the form of canned soup, and laugh at their suffering from the toots of trucks.
As it ever was. They legitimately think that farmers are capitalists who make too much food just so they can pollute the atmosphere more. They would think it's a net good to replace "them" with farmers who are down with price controls and diversity land giveaways so we can bring the population down. When famine hits them as a result, it's the fault of farmers for "hoarding" food that the city folks have made it impossible to sell. Every socialist revolution back to the French Revolution has gone this way. They will always blame the providers instead of their gay policies.

So more like the Gadsden "Don't Tread on Me!" flag instead of the Confederate one?
Or the American Betsy Ross flag, which was labeled white supremacist because it made Colin Kaepernick mad. But it's literally just an old US flag. The Gadsden flag is similar, but at least it has a slogan that you could plausibly "object" to. These are just ... OLD FLAGS.

Canaderp's redemption arc has been a thing of legend. I knew they had it in them since I know a lot of mountain and prairie Canadians. I just never thought they would be ballsy enough to actually do it.

Oh shit that first link has some potential in being hilarious, good stuff!

Are those Canadian Dollars? Because those arn't nearly as absurd if we take a good 20% off of them.
They are, but with purchasing power and general salary differences you can think of them the same. It's all relative when it comes to the "this is who the elites are in your society".

For reference, a steady, non-management, non-specialist white collar job like HR or Accounting might net you 75, 80k CAD here. Management at a large company is 120k. VP is more like 220-250k.

A dental hygienist makes $75k-ish steady state. A pilot makes between 50k at the start of his career and 100k at the end. The average plumber makes 60k a year... my understanding is that these numbers aren't too far off the US ones, only those are in USD.
blacks make up a large portion of government workers, so much so you have tiny little black towns with complete governments but no tax base and they refuse to merge with the nearby tiny black town because that would get rid of middle class government jobs.
Yeah, but if black people think they're better than you it's like in that bemusing, baffling way, similar to how the crazy guy wearing a traffic cone on his head thinks his hat is better than yours. There may be the petty tyranny of a negro running a DMV counter, but there's no insidious undertone of moral superiority that carries outside the workplace, in my experience.

So due to atmospherics I pick up an AM station from Windsor (my Dodge made there lasted decades) in the bathroom and so tonight I listened to it. While it replayed a CTV news broadcast calling the protest an occupation etc, there was an interesting bit of news (for me) that other politicians are calling on, no, demanding Trudeau meet with the truckers. Being MIA is really damaging for him, and Polivere also got a lot of play. I think Trudeau has been hit very badly, and he may not survive this.
Good.
