TGWTG Linkara / Lewis Lovhaug - HMMMMMMM? (Dead Gay Muppet Gangbang)

Also as I said in my review, about the space station's set, just because you point out that it's an obvious living room set, then tell the character who complains about it to accept it. Doesn't mean it makes it any better. If anything, it makes it worse because you just did a needless bout of (unfunny) meta humor, which could have been avoided if you had bothered to hire a fucking set designer. Even To Boldly Flee had an excuse as to why its spaceship's interior looked like someone's house. What's this movie's? Oh right, they don't bother to explain it outside of that one "joke". It's sad when even Lewis fails at exposition, and that's not something that you can fail easily.
It is the same joke as they used in To Boldly Flee. Doug mentions it on the news that they got the plans from former president N. Sano (Dr. Insano) who then mentions something about why would anybody want to fly in a spaceship that looked like a house.

The end result is it helps not to have to build any sets because you can use anybody neckbeard's basement to simulate the cockpit of a spaceship. Yeah it's lame but are you really expecting effort?

Me on seeing the CGI "Babylon 5 Called it wants its special effects back" then using a living room with no attempt at set design as the inside of a spaceship for a dumb joke.... just so much fail. Say what you will about James Rofle (I quite enjoy his work) but Lewis make Rolfe look like Spielberg

It makes even less sense since they could has made few changes to the comiccorn I bridge and wam bam new spaceship bridge low budget T.V. (like TOS) did this all the time sure its not perfect but it fits into an willing superstition of disbelif

Still that at least had explanation, and (debatably) done better there. Here, it just feels like Lewis copied the joke verbatim and removed what little humor it may have had. The kicker being that they drop it just before it gets to the punchline. On to top it all, the spaceship in this movie doesn't even remotely look like a house. Just a reject from a crappy 90s sci-fi movie.

Also, the whole "Insano as President" thing, is that ever explained, or was that an idea pulled out from Lewis's ass?

Last I checked, you can't get any of the money unless you actually met the goal but now we're derailing.
But Indiegogo lets you have all the money. That's what's worrying me. Not that I would Don Bluth would run off with it, he's one of the animation gods

And yes, back on topic. I had little hope for the AT4W movie when it was announced especially when Marzgurl was cast as one of the players. The woman is a terrible actor, more so than the rest of them. While I applaud her for trying to finish the late Jewwario's "Famikamen Rider" movie, she literally ruined what might have been a light diversion.

Okay, wait. Didn't he want to make his spaceship into an actual set instead of just a blue screen of death? What happened to that?

Oh, that trainwreck.
Was I the only one who thought that thing was kind of disrespectful towards Carmical?
As for the AT4W movie... that is worth 63.000?

Speaking of which, James posted a fake trailer for a movie adaptation of the NES Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde to Cinemassacre a few days ago. Despite just being made by James and a few of his buddies for the fun of it, it still looks ten times more professional than the AT4W movie.

This was always Lewis's selling point- him not saying words like "fuck", "shit" or their derivatives. Yeah, it gets annoying when those words are overused, but for fuck's sake, they're not like the plague. USE THEM! No one's stopping you.

And good point about the Cybermats. This was a problem in the series itself. At least with things like the morphers and Pyramidhead, they were used in a mocking sort of manner (kinda-sorta-not really). The Cybermats and other Dr. Who references, not so much. I'm legit surprised BBC hasn't sued his ass yet.

The BBC already get a lot of flack for mis-spending licence fee money, using it to sue some fat Yank on the Internet is not going to endear them to the British public any further.
