TGWTG Eric Rodriguez / E-Rod2010 / The Blockbuster Buster - Edgy Nostalgia Critic Fanboy/Knockoff

So if Marsha is 1981 (September 26 in obituary, August 26 in IMDB at this moment), she was 40 years old and would turn 41 this year. And they were married for 21 years and doing this shitty show for the last 12.
Did a google search and apparently Erod was born in 1982, so I guess he was 18/19 when they got married and she was 19/20. Must have happened right out of high school.
I don't think they will try especially hard. Ask yourself, do you think these snakes in the grass, liars, and avid self-promoters would ever get out of their way to do more than simple platitudes? When Spoony was death-spiraling, only Angry Joe offered to drop everything and drive to his place and help him.

No no, I think E-Rod will be crying in the corner and wondering why, beyond simple 'thoughts and prayers', they did nothing.
Linkara did that skit when Spoony was considering quitting after FF8 was done. But that was Spoony, during his prime, and although Lewis probably wants Erod in the next big crossover he's planning, others who quit have shown they'd come back for something like that, so he probably assumes Erod would too.

Yeah, High school sweethearts who went to childless marriage. She obviously had problems with health, since she was born:

Marsha was born September 26, 1981, in Pensacola, Florida. Marsha, who came into the world nearly three months premature and weighing only a pound and 13 ounces, defied the odds with her fighting spirit, refuting those in the medical profession who said she would never make it.

Also, love E-Rods channeling Blockbuster persona, while his wife was dying. But she died, he got a reality check and decided to stop playing House.

Even if you don't like E-Rod, Marsha herself didn't do anything wrong. I personally feel sorry for both of them, even if they are part of CTC crew, Eric didn't do anything too awful to Doug. He made a videos giving his opinion, and that's it. He never lead a grand war against Channel Awesome, nor was he the loudest voice in CTC movement.

Let's not whitewash erod. He made a video statement that he didn't suffer any abuse, only to later say Doug was a emotional abuser and jumped into the worst part of the bandwagon.

Holy shit that is an eye opener on why they didn’t have children. I just always speculated that they just simply wanted a marriage with no children.

Well, maybe they couldn't have children, or maybe they didn't want children from the beginning. Who knows, point is Marsha had health problem or bad genetics from the start.

If the wee hobbit just shut up and quietly mourned his wife and cane out the other end with a passable book he’d be on the path to redemption for all his shitty reviews and pointless bitter jabs at Doug. But no, he has to brag about the fact he has a barely finished draft and can’t even be bothered to give a basic synopsis on what it’s about.

Action/adventure are video game genres, not books. YA just means he doesn’t have to bother taxing the reader with fancy ideas like subtext or duality of meaning. He’s just going to come out with some bullshit that apes Harry Potter, and pray that he’s virtue signalled enough to get some twitter dickheads to buy his book in protest agains Rowling.

FFS I was seriously rooting for the guy to have some kind of self aware arc following his wife's death, but he’s just being a predictably attention seeking knob and the body’s not even cold. Actually that’s not fair, I doubt her lizard body was ever warm to begin with.

I wouldn't be surprised if CTC crew (Lupa, Linkara & co) convince him to continue as Blockbuster Buster. They lie, cheat, do Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap all the time.
Oh they might push him into restarting his thing but not as the Blockbuster Buster. And truthfully it would be best for everybody if he just hung up his magic hammer and went off to do his own thing. The Blockbuster Buster was a bad show. He needs to mourn, take his time and maybe come back with something that isn't quite so stupid.

Yeah, my biggest complain with BlockBuster Buster show is that - there aren't many bad Blockbusters to begin with. Blockbuster means movie must be successful, but also with high production value. He just ends up reviewing regular bad movies. Now, Nostalgia Critic isn't doing just bad nostalgic movies, but at least Doug mostly chooses themes with some nostalgic value.

Second, its a stupid name, and also his E-Rod persona is just badly conceived and even badly realized. Also, E-Rod lacks charisma as a host, he is just angry and that's it, with little to offer, its just fails on all fronts.

I don't think they can. Marsha was a huge part of the creation of the show. Without her, it just feels like a void of emptiness. The best you'll get from him is making two more before calling it quits, or flat out calling it now. He is mourning for her loss and currently is not the best time to make videos.

I got some negative stickers for my last post about Erod and his wife, and whatever. Stickers literally don't matter.

Here's a hypothetical for all of you... Let's say that Erod's wife was still alive, but Doug's wife died instead... Do any of you seriously think that Erod would be even remotely sympathetic to Doug in this case? I honestly don't think he would be.

Probably not, E-Rod was a Nostagia Critic fanboy, not Doug Walker fanboy. Also, I cant imagine E-Rod pitching to Marsha the Blockbuster Buster idea, 12+ years ago.

I never watched his stuff but I feel for the dude now, it must be terrible. I get that he's coping via reviewing but ERod seriously needs to use his magic hammer to drive the final nail into the coffin of the Blockbuster Buster persona. Does he at least have a job?

He is working in the movie/film industry, I think, but behind the camera. Also someone mention that he is teaching about moviemaking as well.
I see. I have checked his IMDB page and 99% of it is TGWTG-related. Is he perhaps working in porn? Well, he'd be the perfect fluffer IMO, every penis is at eye level.

Of course he wouldn't be sympathetic. If anything he'd say something like Doug deserved it for something something CtC. His entire reason for being angry was not being in the anniversary specials, promised to be on the last one and that wound up being cancelled. How big of an ego does this little manlet have? It didn't happen. Get over yourself and move on with your life. The world doesn't start and stop at his whim. The specials were stupid little ideas that went on way too long.

Nah he's working but behind the scenes. Maybe he's a grip or just the guy that gets coffee for everybody. Nobody really knows. Point is he's not the talent and probably is doing any job that a trained monkey could do.
