• Peritoneal Pull Through on July 2021. Surgery was done by a Dr. Adam Bonnington in San Francisco. I couldn't find too much on him but he was mentored by a Dr. Heidi Whittenberg, who is a terrible surgeon going by a quick glance on Reddit.
• Has a fiancé so he's a just a gay guy.
• Had an orchiectomy done because the spironolactone wasn't working well enough.
• Amhole has started to scar and decrease in size, he thinks it going to magically loosen up (it won't).
• Struggles with the smallest dilator. It's the size of a pinky finger and usually they upgrade pretty quickly from that size so he's in trouble.
• Isn't happy about the amount of scrotal tissue left.

He has gone a bit quiet recently which makes me think he might be facing reality right now.
I'll pay attention and update y'all when he posts next.

Yeah FtMs have 3 sites where something might get fucked up: 1) the donor site (usually forearm), place where they harvest the skin/nerves/etc to make the flesh tube, 2) the site where they harvest a thinner layer of skin to cover the first one (usually the thigh), and of course 3) the crotch where the flesh tube will be stitched. So that’s 3 places for a potential fuck-up to happen.

FtMs imo definitely win in the ”number of places that can have complications” department: arm/hand can be permanently fucked up, hair in the urethra can make them have chronic UTIs, the tube can die and literally rot off and fall, and of course the usual strictures and fistulas, not to mention potential chronic, recurring infections in all 3 places. And many, many more things that can go wrong. And they have to have surgeries forever if they chose to have a penile implant, those need to be changed every 10 years or so, potentially even sooner. Just imagine cutting and sewing the flesh tube over and over and over

The forearm flap is harvested with the radial artery so it has better blood flow and sensitivity. It's a lot easier to get specific shapes as well.
I've seen instances where they harvest the forearm for non-trans procedures so it's quite a useful area.
