Perchaps late, but let me add a bit of conspiracy theories here. In December 2021 one of the leaders of "Russian legal opposition" (also a closeted gay, freak and clown as most of Russian parliament) Zhirinovskiy aka Zhirik claimed that 22.02.2022 will not be peaceful. Personally I believe he just appreciated the drama of five "2" in the date lol. However around two weeks ago he got into hospital with COVID in critical condition and since he is just like others Kremlin inhabitants very old, the odds are that he probably won't come back. Another clown who every day gives predictions which never come true Valeriy Solovey stated that Zhirik was poisoned either by Kremlin or his lover (reminder, he is a closeted fag). Soon after that statement Solovey was detained for "extremism" (for nothing).

Of course Zhirik is a total clown and typical lolcow, however today even major Russian media recalled his words, so who knows lol.

This person says this video was uploaded 3 hours ago in the Bryansk region, Showing a tank moving off of a truck and onto a dirt road to the side.

The coordinates he gave show the video being taken between Belarus and Ukraine (Right above just miles from the border)

The coordinates are also correct because the same sign from the video is shown on Google Maps when looking the coordinates up.

So Donbass situation ...

I spoke too soon about evacuations being well organized. They are not. Seem like a whole lot of people get off the buses literally in the midlle of nowhere in Rostov with little kids and no idea what to do next. Some sitting on the busses after arrival for like 8-10 hours without any idea what to do next. Some are placed in speedily converted shelters. Some go back. A lot of pissed off people on social media. Locals are not amused either, basically pissed off that new comers are arriving with list of demands and they feel like they owe nothing to them.

Mobilization is a thing. Reports of press gangs going door to door in Donetsk. One poster said that her 15y.o. almost got dragged away. Also traffic checkpoints and outright in the street, you can be approached and pressed into service. Some vids of males hiding and watching the shitshow, no one ain't got time for that.

Some reports that empty apartments of people who evacuated and/or conscripted may be getting looted.

Comically, governor of Murmansk (very cold place up north in Russia, colder than usual) is offering land and accommodations for those who wish to relocate ...

There are a couple of instances (Sverdlov is one) where patients in an existing recovery center are getting kicked out to make space for incoming refugees. To say the least, the patients getting kicked out and locals are not very happy about it.

Well, apparently Russian Radbez had a meeting today, where Putin stated that he will decide on independence of Donbass by the end of this day (21st of February). Russian parliament, too, already decided on that.

If they decided to do mental gymnastics on that one, a possible scenario would be the one where Donbass becomes independent and will held a "referendum" on whether or not they want join Russia. So, maybe something similar to Crimea scenario. It's, of course, only my wild guessing.

Maybe it will be a nothing burger after all.

The meeting was streamed online at around 18:30, but the watch on Shoygu's wrist shows 12:30. Lately you can see his watch again, it shows 13:30. Maybe his watch is broken or just shows wrong time. I don't know, just reposting other people's speculations here.

Also..seems to have been under the radar and missed but Russia wants fully the LPR and DNR borders restored if they recognize it..immediately. So that would mean ukraine would need to retreat about 50 miles west and abandon cities like Slovianisk and Mariopol. Not to mention abandon lots of blood stained land they fought over in 2015.

Not accepting Donbas and pushing toward Minsk agreement (i.e. forcing Ukraine recognize those areas as independent and allow them to re-join with special powers ... i.e. like transplanting cancer into healthy body) is a major sticking point, always been for many years.
