A snow leopard. It is known.

Waiting for "call for assistance" from the freshly-baked "independent republics" in 3... 2... 1...

And it won't be his ass cashing the check but ours. Excuse me while I remain mad on the Internet, I didn't vote for him.
Bolded for truth. People are ignorant of the cost of the last war - Chechen war's - on the normal civilian population - Chechen militants were able to pull acts of sabotage and terrorism deep in Russia. Probably going to get downvoted for this, but both Russians and Ukranians have a sizable population that look/act like the other, and the border is not that hard to cross. This means it's really easy for one side/both sides to do nasty covert missions on each other that will probably hit civilians. Stuff like blowing up bridges, air planes, gas lines, supermarkets and other high value targets.

Just invade already so I have something better to do than my shitty photoshop:

Kek

Even if Ukraine stops the shelling you will bet the shelling will coninue...if you catch my drift.

Too many troops in position and ready to go.

The conclusion was made weeks ago.

Ukraine might aswell fire all its SCUDs and Tochka's at moscow right now and strike at Russian assembly areas because it doesnt matter for them.

So World War III is on then? Does this mean that Brandon has officially allowed for two colossal fuck-ups of foreign policy after Afghanistan?
Probably not World War III. If I were a betting man, I'd guess Russia is going to annex the region and then the West is going to tell Russia it was a very bad boy and introduce sanctions. Then the whole thing will repeat within another decade as Russia gradually annexes small regions of nearby countries with significant Russian populations one-by-one.

So pootin chose to sign a few meaningless papers no one else even care read. The west choses to be "concerned" and impose a few meaningless sanctions because you need balls to do more. The war is postponed. In fact it is like end of season one, because Russia actually reached zero goals, no new agreements with NATO, no guarantees on Crimea or missles. They got a couple of millions rather useless population which they will have to feed and that is all, and of course it was not the reason for the whole game. I belive that in season two we will see:

1) Constant bickering on if Russian army should be deployed in DNR and LNR, its puppet gov-s will plead for that, though I don't believe that militants will be happy cause Russian army = no bloody money for them.
2) Possible vote for joining Russia. Again another argument in the dispute.
3) No one is going to aknowledge the indepence, I am not even sure that Luka will.
4) New conflicts on the borders of Ukraine and DNR/LNR, the same autism about "caught spies / terrirism"
5) 1 EUR > 100 RUB (actually the only shit I personally care about)

You’re absolutely retarded of you think that Biden at all caused this. The only way to avoid a Russia/Ukraine war was absolutely unacceptable from a geopolitical stand point, political standpoint and the like. It would have been like Munich in 1938 all over again, massive appeasement with basically no upsides but the word of someone who’s broken it so many times before.

Close enough for a foreign policy fuck-up. Brandon is all-pants-shitting and no action.

I didn't say Biden caused this directly. More that he was basically too incompetent to stop it so Putin just waltzed right in and asserted dominance.

Please recall a few weeks ago when Brandon said there wouldn't be a response, not even sanctions, if Putin only puts it in a little,

I wonder if the choice of wording regarding the documents, "договоры о дружбе, сотрудничестве и взаимной помощи", the same as the documents establishing the Warsaw Pact back in the day, are meant as a sign to the western leaders. Putin really bringing back the Cold War nostalgia with this one.

theres not a lot of those though. like, where would they look after ukraine? belarus is already under their control, so that's not it either. estonia and latvia are full NATO members so those are off limits. what's left? transnistria, moldova?

It's going to be really hard to walk that Putin speech back.

This may legitimately be it bros...

I don't know enough about the history of the area to say. I just think the West has no appetite for an open war with Russia and will do everything they can to look like they're something while in reality doing nothing.

He didn't say "cause" he said "allowed". You'd have to be an absolutely retarded brainlet to think he hasn't exacerbated the situation the whole time he's been in office. His, his son's, his "mentors" and some of his other pals are the whole reason we are as involved as we are with as little capability to respond or leverage as we have, and Putin knows it. Russia would not have nearly as strong a position if the current admin hadn't crippled US energy production and tied up so much of our dirty laundry in such a backwater pockmark as Ukraine.
