How'd they nab the Kiev airport so quickly?
Holy shit, it is really over

And people said Russia military is shit

So is Ukraine fighting back means it will be over in a while? There's a post that said Russia didn't have military factories, and I do know they're masters of the Blitz, but I don't know what else.

EDIT:
Holy shit, it is really over

And people said Russia military is shit
They're masters of the Blitz, of course.

It's surreal to think that I'll go to bed and wake up tomorrow to find the war almost certainly all over.
this is how i see this going atm.

almost 20 cities under attack..reports of ukrainians fleeing in uniform.

Their officials are basically begging to be saved from any other country...RIP...you do not have a country if you can not defend it.

no balls involved here. its clear biden would do nothing and it was clear that the US would not put troops in ukraine. ever.
It's still interesting to watch.

Haven't really seen the Russian military in action in a long time. Be interesting to see how well their logistical chains hold up, what kind of depth they have to them, and see just how effective some of these other countries are against them. Used to be, the USSR was considered one of the premier militaries before we found out they were just as drunk, stupid, and ill-equipped as everyone else.

No offense to any Ukraine citizens here, but I think we'd be better served watching the Russian military take Ukraine than we would getting involved. Lots of data to train for the next war.

I mean, from what the doomers have been saying, i'm not gonna be shocked if Taiwan wasn't get taken pretty quick as well. Biden is gonna have a very bad couple of weeks. Good thing he doesn't have a fuckign clue or he might be worried.
Taiwan is a whole different ball game.

Still, it'd be interesting to watch the pollution goblins take on the Ladybois.

Be lots of blood on the beaches.

If they did what I think they did (which is follow the US playbook) they did airborne insertions like the US did in Panama, Grenada, Iraq (both times).

A couple hundred airborne troops can take the airport pretty quick even with just rifles, grenade launchers, and anti-tank/air-air rockets strapped to rucks, and dig in hard.

Either that or they did a replay of Afghanistan and hid in charter jets (maybe the Turkish ones) and came storming in, dropped in on a chute.

It''s pretty goddamn effective.

I still think Tawin will fall due to China worming its way into its political system rather than military take over. I mean when was the last real fight China got into?
It's also the thing they're exceedingly good at (or everybody is just that greedy and retarded). They really don't need military conflict.

When they invaded Vietnam in 79 to cut them off from Russia, which they did. They jungle Asians kicked their asses though, the Russian supply lines had to move through China in the first place. The Chinese made a very poor showing of themselves.
