I can't really see the Russian army taking any major cities, not to mention Kiev. Urban warfare is super slow, gory and, despite the pincer movement they're trying to pull off right now, it would look like Grozniy 2: Electric Boogaloo even if some airports have been captured. What is Putin's aim here? Occupy strategic areas, hold Ukraine's infrastructure hostage and make demands?
You severely underestimate people's willingness to give up as long as they're not killed, and left alone.

PRO-RUSSIAN ELEMENTS WITHIN UKRAINE ARE APPARENTLY SENDING INFO TO THE RUSSIAN MILLITARY ON UKRAINIAN ARMY MOVEMENTS

Chernobyl is very close to the border, Ukrainians must be fighting pretty well there if that's where the fighting is still. Russia making much larger advances from Crimea in the south and farther west along the northern border

I don't really know what else he could do about it. I don't want a war with Russia. I don't think anyone else, in this thread, wants one, either.

Economic sanctions are really the only thing he could do. What do you think about it? I am genuinely curious what you guys want Biden to do about it
I think that's what is the scary part about this all, what realistically do you do when a country like Russia decides to just invade some place? I think Westerners/Americans have broadly just assumed that they have a monopoly on getting to invade and fuck with non nuclear nations, and now we're all just sitting back dumbfounded that Russia (and probably China) are realizing that they can do it too and we can't do anything about it anymore. Even more so that Ukraine is a nearby nation for many in Europe.

Obviously we can say in hindsight "The USA shouldn't have been too aggressive with its foreign policy against Russia" or whatever but that doesn't change anything now about the current situation, and I'm sure the Ukrainians who are experiencing this feel a lot of comfort in retards online saying "well it would've never happened if Trump was president!"
Maybe I'm just being a bitch because I have family and friends in Eastern Europe, but its frightening to see this happen in places that look familiar to me and it's also equally frightening to see that world leaders basically have as much of a clue on what to do in this situation as I do.

Taiwan should be buying weapons on the black market right now, shit I would be talking to Iran and getting Materials for a Dirty Bomb and make it clear to Xi the Poo that if they invade the entire island turns into a wasteland.
Why though? They're already openly buying from America, the premier weapon supplier of the world.

I'd normally agree, very heartily in fact, but the Ukrainians aren't... really holding up well. Perhaps the professionals retreated to the cities, in which case I actually do agree. But it sounds like most are retreating to fallback positions behind Kyiv.

So if we check the scoreboard:

Russia: 2 tanks dead, 50 dead servicemen
Ukraine: at least 800 dead, entire navy sunk, entire airforce destroyed or defected to fucking Romania
You forgot 5 Ukranian servicemen dead. 10:1 kill ratio. As predicted. Killing civilians would be expected as they are invading.

When will you retards learn to stop tagging Null in A&H threads. Besides the fact he's currently laying down suppressing fire, he fucking hates you and wants to shut this place down for annoying him.
it is horrendously off topic to have retards arguing about alternative energy during the first day of a legit shooting war in europe.

We were energy Independent for the first time in my life time at the end of Trump's administration, which was always considered a complete Pipe Dream, and it was done in 3 Years. Fuck it we were exporting oil.

Anyone who advocates for "Wind and Solar" power on a mass scale should fucking kill themselves. It's a fantasy on par with Troons thinking they are real women.
Fuck you, solar has potential. If you mean solar panels, sure, but leave the fucking corn alone.

Russians might be limiting the use of explosives to reduce the amount of deep dust kicked up. They wouldn't want to give their entire division cancer

there is not much infrastructure left there.

Grabbing every dirty bomb, IED manufacturing, manufacturing drugs that remove fear, hiring mercenaries, private security contractors, mall cops, midget submarines, Suicide Vests, fucking everything.

It isn't, it's a major problem in Europe and has completely dulled Europe's ability to make any decisions on this war.

Thanks to "green energy" spergouts, European countries cannot actually negotiate. They outsourced all of their power needs to Russia because of green energy bullshit. This is directly related - it's not even slightly off-topic, you cannot understand the situation faced by any party if you don't understand how damaging these policies have been.
