It's interesting watching this play out because it feels like the first major conflict that you cannot trust literally anything being pushed by the western media. Like when I see the "Ghost of Kiev" or the "Father hugging his daughter before going to war" I just assume it's fake propaganda being pushed by the west. I'm not even saying it definitely is but it's just my immediate thought when I see anything they push.

Is the "ghost" thing being pushed by mainstream media now? Last time I saw it was just some random redditors and tards on twitter.

Do we even have any posters from inside Russia that could tell us what the media is telling them there? It'd be interesting to compare notes.

That's what's so bad about this, the Ukraine incursion is what sets off a bunch of other events, all of which can draw us into war. Any attempt by China to take Taiwan triggers a bunch of other countries to come to their defense. Ukraine being taken by Russia isn't the worst, it's merely the first.

People keep saying Russia took out their AA, but by the looks of it, that's simply not the case.
Nothing is even happening

The fighting is all taking place inside the hollow earth

The only people who know what is really happening are high ranking intelligence and staff officers in various countries and what they tell the public they all spin as hard as they can

Goddamnit it's WWI all over again except the Archduke isn't even dead yet.

That isn't really true, but the PRC has for a long time lacked a decent capability to project its power (the People's Liberation Army Navy has the aircraft carrier capability of a minor European country and for the size of mainland China is a bit of joke in respect of capabilities overall). I don't think the US are going to risk the loss of face which would come from a reasonably successful PRC attack on the RoC. The PRC does not have the resource richness of Russia relative to population (its strategic resources like rare earth are more easily replaced than what Russia possesses). PRC has its issues with Evergrande and its peers, an aging population, and depends almost completely on exports. Also I don't see the PRC doing what Putin did. Joe Biden might be senile, and the G7 leaders bad jokes, but the Minsk Accord put the country nearly in the palm of his hand, just a few years of helping the opposition back to power against the hitherto flailing Zelenskyy.
Though I'm much more bearish on China launching a major invasion of Taiwan this year that most, I'm concerned that China may launch a war with Taiwan just to distract from their various domestic crisis's and the CCP's internal turmoil. Xi may just say "fuck it" if he thinks he won't get another term, much like Putin is sort of saying "fuck it, I don't have much time left anyway" right now.

I think too many people are falling for China's recent PR policy of projecting a big dick, because they have spent most of their lives witnessing China's ascent. But they are still very behind in terms of quality equipment, especially for something like a massive invasion of an Island that is well prepared for the day they try. Taiwan is not going to just allow Chinese troops to dock and march in, because the elite of that country know if the PRC takes over, they're going to at best be put in forced labor for the rest of their lives, if not outright executed by the CCP if they take control.

If you ever run into a China doomers, remind them that when it China and India looked like they were going to go to war few years ago, most military experts said India would be favored to win in an all out conflict with China. And let's not forget China has only ever excelled militarily against itself (though I guess technically war with Taiwan would be waragainst itself).

Here is geographic distribution map of the Ukrainian Air Force in Ukraine.

I am just assuming things but I think personally Cdo South and Cdo East are most likely destroyed structurally, Cdo Central is holding on and Cdo West is probably mostly untouched since there haven't much reports of attacks in those areas as far as I know.
