I'm more worried of what China is cooking up. They've been unusually neutral lately and that's concerning. They're usually more supportive of Russia.

It's probably because they looking at the state of the "wider world" and know that this is an optics disaster for Russia, even though Russia will win the war against Ukraine in the end.

If China openly goes out in support of Russia, those bad optics will "rub off" on China, especially in its interactions with Hong Kong and Taiwan.
