That's a straight line route, not the actual route it's flying.

Not really. Our K/D ratio when we're fighting other countries is pretty top notch. Russians and Chinese throw away their citizens literally by the millions with absolute disregard. Even in our worst foreign wars, we usually lose more citizens to car accidents and domestic murders even while the war is going on.
If you count only the soldiers. But when the government use mercenaries to grind and hide to the public? And in civil part USA gov already have NSA, KGB's wet dream, killed it's own citizen, experiments on own citizens, etc.
The situation of America is better than China, Russia, etc? Yes but not so much better. It's getting how much worse can it get.

They haven't really seemed to do the human wave zerg rush shit since the 50s.

No. In a just world Carlson would be shot. He's literally astroturfing the invasion days after he said the US was backing the wrong horse and we should help Russia with Ukraine. Moreover he's implying the US should abandon our NATO allies if they invoke Article 5.

It is incredibly important that someone shoots Tucker as soon as possible.
Dude, I suggest you take a break because demanding a talking head on boomer tv said things you didn't like be killed, twice, is a sign you are not OK.

Yeah, not trying to be a russaboo but those sound pretty damn inflated. It didn't look like Russians were massed in single locations getting wiped out from the videos we've got.
This is a given, keeping morale up is essential to the war effort here. We are talking about an unpopular war, the more they bleed out Putin's boys, the more attrition they cause back home!

Snake Island was a good example, they lost the island but the tale of the brave 13 men who spent their last moments telling the invaders to go fuck themselves is a good morale boost. Keeping the fighting spirit up is of the essence in this case!

And to complement, I don't trust russian numbers either. They surely got more losses than they reported, not as high as they made it out to be, but their failure at securing their day one objectives is confirmed!
This shouldn't need to be said but anything coming out of RT is automatically fake and gay.
Anything from Russian or Chinese media is not to be trusted as they are literal propaganda machines. Precisely, as you said!

China isn't capable of making such a "power move" without getting fucked in the ass for it sooner or later. Remember, China's diplomatic credibility is falling precipitously across the board under the rule of Xi Jinping, and it's only going to worsen if it openly supports an act of naked aggression against a (technically) sovereign state.

"We", as in Americans, may not have any "real" beef with modern Russia, but Europeans do. Americans do have real beef with modern China, and it looks like more and more "non-Frankish" (i.e. neither French nor German) European nations are joining the anti-China club with us.
They could go for Taiwan right now, but it would be a colossally retarded move. India hates them and would be willing to join in any fights, Russia is too busy to provide any assistance, the U.S. and allies in the region would be on Taiwan's side by default. No amount of wolf warrior horseshit can change this fact, and all that posturing only goes so far after pictures of dead PLA soldiers in the beaches, sunk ships and downed jets start popping up. Won't happen so soon!

Oh, please, Trump admires Putin so much he'd let Ukraine get completely taken over.

On a different note, I wonder how Putin would react if this invasion were referred to as cowardly instead of aggressive. After all, Putin feels threatened by the idea of Ukraine joining NATO.
NATO member on the border, huh? I’m trying to figure out the issue here outside of leaders being stuck in the Cold War
You can't make a really good comparison because both presidents are completely different. Trump wouldn't have allowed the situation to have developed this far, he'd have responded early with a show of strength which is how you get bullies like Putin to back down. With Biden, Putin is counting on public opinion (especially after the disaster that was the afghanistan pull out) preventing Biden from escalating to boots on the ground.

The thing that allowed this to happen, the loss of Bagram as a strategic asset, wouldn't have happened under Trump because Trump had negotiated what would have been a slow hand over of the country to the Taliban. The turbaned steam roller we got to witness in August was direct result of the Biden Administration renegging on the orderly withdraw deal, because they wanted to deny Trump any sort of lasting diplomatic victory.

Putin didn't step to Trump because Trump was a loose cannon; Putin didn't know how far Trump would go and that's why he was a good boy the four years Trump was in the white house: Why fuck with a crazy man when you can wait 4-8 for the next Democuck.
The one time Putin did test Trump in Syria, 200 russian mercs got annihilated.
Putin behaved himself for the rest of Trump's time in office after that.

He also knew that Trump would play the How Much Shit Can I Get Away With Before It Gets Real game right back at him. I said Putin is counting on america being war-weary after seeing 20 years in afghanistan mean nothing. When Russia started massing troops on the border, Trump would have had a rally with 40,000 people chanting "NUKE MOSCOW" showing popular commitment to a war.

This is not to downplay Trump's fuckups in the geopolitical area, or to suggest he's some sort of genius - he was as successful as he was because he used the exact executive level low-cunning against people not expecting it (i.e. you can't outsmart a bullet.).

As for people thinking Trump was weak against Putin.....

Trump likes that Putin proved him right.
Trump said that NATO was worthless to the US and they were a bunch of worthless Eurocucks who would be no good in a fight and couldn't even defend themselves, everyone whined and sobbed about Muh NATO, Our EU allies. Russia is now invading Ukraine AGAIN, a country the EU was trying to become butt-buddies with, and the EU is doing fuck all because Putin has them by the balls (also because they are worthless Eurocucks).
They had 8 years to get themselves off Russian natural gas, and didn't do jack shit except dig the hole deeper.

So yeah, Trump likes being proven right.

Just a reminder, Ukraine Provinces lost to Russia under Trump was zero.
What I'm saying is if admiring Putin is what it takes to keep Russia from expanding borders with military force, maybe Biden should compliment Putin on his suits or something.
You know, all these posts are enough to kill the “Russian interference in 2016” idea because a President Trump would be a terrible thing for Russia if only because Putin wouldn’t have a puppet to push around.
