Actually, I agree with this. I was the one who suggested Pink Flamingos, I'm a fan of John Waters. At the very least, he definitely put more effort into appreciating the recommended films than I would. I've had girls recommend movies to me and while I watched them, I definitely didn't talk about the movies or remember much about them unless she brought up the subject.

Yeah, and he apparently didn't just watch it and be done, but he watched it again with Waters' commentary. So, he at least attempted to make an effort to study some of Jackie's interest, despite the fact that Pink Flamingos is definitely not a Chris-like film. The fact that he even sat through and attempted to find some positive aspects to Cannibal Holocaust is what really got me, as thats a film I simply cannot dream of making it through.

Cannibal Holocaust is a pretty awful movie. I bought it supercheap thinking it might have something to do with zombies and being a connoisseur of all things zombie I naively bought it.

I was pretty disgusted by the rape but when I found out the animal deaths were real I threw it out. Of course, the rape scene was rape went straight over Chris's head and was his favourite part.

You know, the animal deaths didn't bother me. I'm rarely shocked by films. People will tell me "oh this film is so graphic and disturbing!" and I'll be there like "meh". I may just be desensitized.

I'd say it's still pretty tame compared to other stuff from roughly the same era, and it does have a message (ham-handed and hidden behind obscenity as it is). Something like Faces of Death would be a lot more unwatchable to him since there are no naked people or rape in it.

Chris doesn't care.
That's pretty punk rock.
Kind of OT, but Chris' long greasy hair would make one badass mohawk.
The problem is he's lost it on top so it would look shit if he tried.

he could rock a style like keith flint:

His willingness to share every detail of his life lead to the creation of the CWCki, which has given me many a laugh.

If only every lolcow shared as much as Chris. GodBear only knows what hilarity we've missed out on.

I always thought that Chris has some good dedication going on for his fictional creations. And cranking out hundreds of pages of webcomic is a pretty cool achievement.

Still, he believes he doesn't need to improve, rips off everything, and doesn't focus on quality. To put it mildly. He could be a better artist if he at least tried to improve and tried to branch out a bit and strive for originality. Nope, not here. All Sonichu, all the time.

I've always enjoyed reading novels about crazy and/or extremely unpleasant people, such as "Perfume" by Patrick Süskind or "Der Untertan" by Heinrich Mann. Chris seems to a certain degree to be a real-life version of a repulsive literary character, following his life is like reading a book with a "madman"/"criminal"/"crazy loner" theme.

It's pretty telling how 6 months ago it wouldn't have been as much of a strain for a thread like this to work.

WTG Chris.

He doesn't live in my country :alog:

Yes, but does he know where your country is? ;)

What I like about him: he's lulzy sometimes, he's fun to watch and speculate about and he lives 6-8 hours from where I live, so most likely I'll never meet him. Unfortunately for me, he does know where Ohio is, and he may have passed by a few miles of my house when he went to Cleveland.

He doesn't change. He still hates the jerkops, the trolls, the HEX-Box and so on.

He is very motivational in the sense that he makes you want to actually contribute to society. And like, clean every surface of your home.
